Join the vascular surgeons in the M Health Fairview system who currently perform all manner of open and endovascular procedures specializing in aortic disease, peripheral vascular interventions, vein procedures, and the full breadth of vascular practice
Will be involved with training vascular residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Vascular Surgery training program.
Board eligible/certified in Vascular Surgery
Licensed or ability to obtain medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
Demonstrated history of effective and collegial written and verbal communication with students, trainees, colleagues, and patients
Commitment to a collaborative interdivisional approach to vascular care
Understands and places importances on patient-centered care/service
Detail oriented and self-motivated

The Department of Radiology of the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a fulltime radiologist. Primary job duties will include interpreting diagnostic imaging in the chest, abdomen, and pelvis at a quaternary care center which serves both inpatients and outpatients. Completion of a fellowship specializing in abdominal or chest imaging is strongly preferred. A desire to provide high quality clinical care is the chief requirement. Both clinically focused and academic track applicants will be considered. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.
The University of Minnesota Department of Radiology is at the forefront of imaging in a region known for some of the nation's best health care. Faculty are engaged and focused on providing high quality clinical care and practice in an environment that values education, quality-improvement, and encourages a wide variety of academic pursuits. The U of M is home to a large highly regarded ACGME approved residency and numerous fellowship programs. An interest in research is encouraged and there are substantial departmental and institutional resources for research activities, though there is not a research requirement for this position.
Minimum requirements are an M.D or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota, board certified or board eligible status, completion of ACGME accredited radiology training. For academic track applicants, evidence of scholarship in research or education is needed. Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty/research
expertise. Academic faculty will be active in their national organizations and foster an
academic environment for medical students, residents and faculty.

This role is dually employed by M Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. The Department of Medicine's Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PACCS) seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor faculty on the Academic or Clinician Track with clinical focus on Lung Transplantation. As a Division, with more than 80 faculty based at four principal hospital sites, we proudly feature nationally recognized programs and leaders in Interstitial Lung Disease, COPD, Lung Transplantation, Critical Care Medicine (Respiratory Failure & ARDS), Cystic Fibrosis, Interventional Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. We strive to find new treatments and cures for diseases in these areas through basic, clinical and ‘big data' research, while working to prevent respiratory illness. We partner with faculty across the University and colleagues in the community in our research, clinical, education and training efforts.
Primary Responsibilities include:
This academic track faculty member will devote at least 85% effort (90% or 95% for Clinician Track) to providing high quality clinical care in order to fill a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above ( in the Academic Track or Clinician Scholar track). The remaining effort will be dedicated to education and collaborative research activities with the expectation of demonstrated accomplishments consistent with promotion in the academic track (an average of at least one publication per year, for example). The clinical effort predominantly will be at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Clinics and Surgery and Center, and University of Minnesota's East Bank Hospital.
The faculty will participate actively and contribute to PACCS Division and Department of Medicine academic and clinical programs. Those with a primary clinical focus and particular interest in lung transplantation are encouraged to apply.
This position is ideal for clinically adept pulmonologist-intensivists who are interested in building an academic program that promotes high quality care with associated scholarship while interacting with colleagues and developing creative research and/or educational programs.
It is strongly encouraged that faculty develop an area of focus and expertise, gradually developing a regional and then national reputation. Faculty would participate actively in the relevant multi-disciplinary programs. Clinical effort may be reduced with participation in salary-supported activities (research, program leadership, etc). Active participation in the Division's clinical and research conferences, journal club and core curriculum lectures and teaching of students, residents and fellows is expected. Experience and skills in education and/or clinical research are desirable.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have an M.D. and be ABIM certified or eligible in both Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Candidates should have high quality training in Pulmonary and Critical Care and be considered as excellent physicians and role models for trainees. Candidates should have experience in academic research and/or educational activities with a high likelihood of ongoing achievement.
Applicants must have the ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA category while in the United States.
Pay and Benefits:

· Precept with attending physician for patient assessment, evaluation, discussion, and disposition.
· Participate in collaborative discussions and teaching with the attending physician.
Qualifications:
· Completion of first year of a ACGME Pediatric, Medicine-Pediatric, Emergency Medicine Residency Program and completion of one Emergency Department rotation in the Masonic Emergency Department.

Associate Medical Director (0.1 FTE)- ED University of Minnesota Medical Center (West Bank ED)
Clinician (0.90 FTE) - position primarily requires clinical time in the Emergency Departments at the University of Minnesota Medical Center - East and West Bank Campuses
Flexibility of schedule (block shifts, days/week, etc.)
Job Description
The Associate Medical Director, West Bank is a dedicated member of the Department of Emergency Medicine and is responsible for:
Assisting and Co-leading day-to-day oversight of clinical operations, quality, patient experience, new initiatives, and site metrics
Supporting Site Medical Director as primary liaison to clinical services and hospital/support services, primarily relevant to site (e.g. MHAS and Psychiatry - West Bank & Peds ED). Involved with larger UMMC issues/partnership, as needed.
Dyad leaders with Nurse Manager and Nursing PCS's for site-specific issues including: clinical operations, quality, facility, equipment, materials, regulatory visits - projects and ongoing work
Associate Medical Director, WB reporting structure:
Direct leader: Senior Medical Director, UMMC ED's
Matrix reporting to: Medical Director, West Bank ED
About the Emergency Department at UMMC:
University of Minnesota Medical Center (UMMC) is a 1,932 licensed bed facility
UMMC is a Level III Trauma Center, Stroke Center and Level I Cardiac Center
Approximately 50,000 patients are seen annually between the two campuses
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Emergency Medicine residency training program
Board eligible/certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota
Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff
Understands and places importance on patient care/service
Detail oriented and self-motivated
Education focused and a creative problem-solver
Pay and Benefits:
Pay Range: $350,000-$410,000; depending on education/qualifications/experience
Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
