The Shuttle Bus Dispatcher duties include scheduling drivers, assigning routes, ensuring proper coverage to meet business requirements, assisting with record maintenance, accident reporting and giving drivers direction. _A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required for this role_ **Responsibilities** At Republic Airways, you will be responsible for coordinating our Shuttle Buses on campus, providing transportation to and from off-site parking and between campus and off campus sites. Compiles and sends out a list of the pushed/not completed maintenance from the previous night. + Oversees maintenance plan and makes adjustments as necessary due to unexpected issues. + Review all work packages for tooling and other specialized manpower requirements + Monitors airframe inspection compliance and component time changes and advises appropriate departments of change/inspection due. + Addresses un-routed aircraft and any short fuse or critical items. + Ensures that plan for the work matches with routing for Aircraft, and if not, work with Dispatch and Maintenance Control to resolve. + Reviews Minimum Equipment List and insures items are on the visit package for planes scheduled to be serviced. + Reviews five day and two week Maintenance Due Reports daily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * FAA Mechanic Certificate with a rating of Airframe & Powerplant or foreign equivalent * Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) in Aviation (any discipline) or a related technical field or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * At least 3 years of experience in related engineering and/or aircraft maintenance * Requires a thorough understanding and working knowledge of all appropriate maintenance and airworthiness requirements of 14 CFR. (i.e., Parts 1, 21, 23, 25, 43, 45, 47, 65, 91, and 121) and manuals required by 14 CFR Parts 121 and 133 PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Aviation (any discipline) * Six Sigma or Lean Processes, certificate LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. DECISION MAKING Makes day to day decisions used to support strategic direction. Decisions require thought and may not be structured. Decisions tend to be short term and usually of moderate cost.
