As a Consumer LoanSpecialist, you will be a key team member in the branch. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a positive total customer experience while originating consumer loans, completing loan applications, developing strong customer relationships and meeting sales goals. Job responsibilities are as follows:
* Actively seeks opportunities to originate new loan business with new and existing customers.
* Evaluates customer needs to recommend the best consumer loan and voluntary product solutions.
* Completes loan applications, proposals and offers for new borrowers and follows up with pending applicants.
* Assists potential borrowers by explaining the loan process, answering questions regarding loan products and loan processing.
* Takes ownership of customer concerns and works with management to formulate and execute strategies for potential problem loans.
* Closes loans, assembles loan folders, and breaks down files as well as other miscellaneous tasks.
* Consistently meets or exceeds loan goals.
* Responsible for day-to-day servicing of an ever-growing, complex consumer loan portfolio.
* Applies analytical skills to quickly and efficiently resolve any customer issues.
* Processes insurance claims, follow-ups and payments daily and maintains insurance log.
* Provides excellent customer care through daily transactions, customer inquiries and problem resolution.
* Answers incoming phone calls; checks branch's voicemail.
* Effectively builds trust with customers and internal staff by embodying and demonstrating the philosophy of the organization, including core values, company policies, operational procedures and compliance.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (i.e., retail sales, goal-oriented or incentive based).
* Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills are a must.
* Ability to work in a high-performing, fast-paced, goal-oriented, team environment.
* Ability to successfully navigate priorities while paying close attention to details.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows & Microsoft Office.

Purpose
Entry level real estate lending position with focus on development and training. The Associate Mortgage LoanSpecialist position is responsible for obtaining the required knowledge and experience needed to guide current and prospective members through the real estate loan application process.
Duties
Receive and assist in the completion of real estate loan applications, while serving as the primary point of contact for applicants during the origination process.
Assess, underwrite, and make recommendations for decision on loan applications considering applicant(s) credit worthiness, ability to repay, collateral valuation, and organizational risk. Communicate approval or denial decisions to members in a clear and professional manner.
Evaluate and verify income documentation, including personal and business tax returns, to make informed approval or denial decisions.
Counsel potential home buyers and existing homeowners, while taking complete and accurate real estate loan related applications and obtaining required documentation to facilitate initial loan approval with assistance when needed.
Seek guidance for complex lending situations and approval authority from an MLS or above.
Proactively stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and changes in lending policies and regulations to provide members with accurate and timely information.
Assist membership with servicing of existing mortgage and home equity loans.
Follow up with prequalified applicants and on other leads in a timely and effective manner.
Price and disclose loan applications by determining the interest rates and fees associated with a loan, based on factors such as borrower's creditworthiness, loan amount, term and market conditions.
Successful completion of Consumer Lending Program courses and subsequent exam is required. After completion and proficiency shown, granted initial lending limits (Tier 1) with SVP recommendation.
Coordinate member engagement with the Real Estate Lending Processing Center within Loan Administration.
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all real estate lending products, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Educate members on available services and make referrals for other Credit Union products and services based on their needs.
Ensure well documented, easy to review loan application history notes within the Loan Origination System.
Work with Lending Contact Center to provide assistance with mortgage lending calls when needed.
Support branch employees with all real estate related needs and ensuring employees have the information needed to be comfortable referring all potential applicants to discuss mortgage lending opportunities.
Work various contact and follow-up reports to cultivate member engagement throughout the home buying process and make SECU their lender of choice.
Assist as needed with community engagement by meeting with realtors and other third parties as well as attending community events to build and maintain mortgage loan volume.
Consumer unsecured lending as assigned.
Answer phone and perform other clerical duties as needed.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Participate in additional training and continuing education to enhance knowledge of mortgage originations.

Responsible for post-closing review, shipment, and funding of mortgage loan files to investors and agencies. Ensures loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with investor, agency, and regulatory requirements. Job Summary:
Responsible for post-closing review, shipment, and funding of mortgage loan files to investors and agencies. Ensures loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with investor, agency, and regulatory requirements. Coordinates loan boarding, tax service setup, document quality control, and timely delivery of post-closing documents while maintaining accurate loan status tracking within the loan origination and delivery systems.
General Description/Duties:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Review closed loan packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with investor and regulatory requirements; identify and resolve missing, incorrect, or deficient documentation.
* Coordinate with internal staff, closing agents, and other third parties to obtain outstanding documents and ensure timely shipment of loan files.
* Prepare and process required post-closing documents, including Transfers and Assignments, Goodbye Letters, and Insurance Endorsement Change requests.

Purpose
Experienced Mortgage LoanSpecialist responsible for the full real estate loan process across all delivery channels. About This Role Annaly is seeking a Whole Loan Residential Collateral Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating whole loan custody and carrying out various post close operations such as reviewing collateral documents with our custodian and working with our origination partners to obtain trailing documents.
The Residential Credit Whole Loan Collateral Specialist will review custodial reports for exceptions prior to settlement, communicate with originators on a daily basis and report exceptions to Trading Desk.
Additionally, the candidate will be primarily responsible for working with vendors to ensure loans are assigned to Onslow Bay in a timely manner and providing reporting on the status of pre-settlement and trailing documents to management.
The ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience in the residential mortgage whole loan space. Candidates should have an understanding of residential whole loan collateral and mortgage documents as well as an understanding of the lifecycle of a loan. This includes CEMA documents and co-op documents in addition to the standard mortgage documents.
Essential Responsibilities
* Review custodial exception reports and identify any material and/or fatal exceptions
* Ensure loan level trades contain the necessary collateral to be cleared for settlement
