EHS Environmental Engineer - Manufacturing A leading manufacturing facility is seeking an Environmental Engineer to oversee and manage environmental compliance efforts across all operations, including air quality, water systems, waste management, and applicable regulatory reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations while supporting a culture of environmental stewardship within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with IDNR, EPA, and all relevant city, state, and federal environmental laws. Manage permits for drinking water, stormwater, wastewater, and air emissions, maintaining all records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit Tier II and TRI (Toxics Release Inventory) reports as needed. Oversee proper labeling, storage, and removal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. Develop and sustain a facility-wide recycling program. Ensure accurate and timely completion of generator and paint usage logs. Review and approve new chemical purchases prior to procurement.
