The Role
The Digital Engineering Group promotes a holistic approach to design and construction model-based services and technologies. The group defines the company strategy around the use of BIMs, data integration across models and departments, and cultural change across project teams to realize significant risk reduction on construction cost and schedule.
Leveraging the design, engineering, and construction knowledge of Suffolk and Suffolk Design, the Digital Engineering Team is charged with executing Virtual Design & Construction, Plan + Control, and creating innovative solutions in tech and process to ensure Suffolk is the best contractor in every region it operates.
This position supports Digital Engineering, Virtual Design & Construction, and Plan + Control for Suffolk's Mission Critical business. Executing these services on one or more Suffolk projects is the prime responsibility of this role.
Responsibilities
Support the successful delivery of Digital Engineering, Virtual Design & Construction, and Plan + Control for Suffolk's Mission Critical business.
Develop 3D, 4D, and 5D models for site safety & logistics plans and trade coordination.
Create clash reports for coordination meetings. Run trade coordination meetings; capture meeting minutes, issues, and RFIs and work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Perform design model quality control reviews and create reports.
Support Plan + Control management and delivery, ensuring successful project team experiences with all approved 3

party vendors.
Support vendor management and billing.
Collect, track, and report on KPI data.
Manage scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for Digital Engineering services on projects.
Provide training and support of software and tools to project teams.
Proactively develop and maintain relationships with new and existing project teams.
Qualifications
4-year degree in an accredited industry related curriculum.
1-5 years of VDC related design and/or construction experience.
Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawings, to navigate 3d models, and to identify different building systems.
Competency with the following applications: Procore, Autodesk Suite, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam at a minimum.

Within our U.S. Planning, Water Resources, and Condition Assessment Business, we have seen consistent growth driven by our clients' needs to address challenges stemming from stormwater management, flood control, condition assessment services for conveyance/transmission assets, aging infrastructure, and supply planning to support population growth and resilience. Key Responsibilities
* Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients
* Lead the execution of water resources projects and act as Project Manager for services including the following:
* Planning and/or design of stormwater improvements, including open channels, storm sewer systems, and stormwater detention/retention and retrofit facilities
* Planning and/or design of green infrastructure and sustainable watershed measures, including structural BMPs
* Planning and/or design of flood mitigation improvements, including dams, levees, reservoirs, and pump stations
* Erosion and sediment control planning and design, including SWPPP development
* Regulatory compliance and permitting efforts for USACE, FEMA, and other environmental permit submittals
* Scenario planning efforts for SSO, stormwater, and TMDL compliance projects
* The application of sophisticated watershed and receiving stream H&H and water quality models
* Development of stormwater master plans and watershed management plans
* Planning efforts related to supply diversification, collection/distribution system expansions and rehab and repair, etc.

* 10+ years of water resources planning and design experience

The Engineer, Level 1, is responsible for ensuring that the property is maintained in the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to customers and employees.
Responsibilities
* Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system: change filters, clean coils, replace motors.
