Your role with the company:
The primary focus of the furnace engineer is toward increasing efficiencies in all areas of the process including raw material usage, energy consumption, process control, furnace condition and final total percent pack efficiency. The Furnace engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the furnace, batch and sizing systems while also heavily integrated with fiber forming to ensure quality production at world class efficiency.
What you will be doing:
· Promote and maintain MW/MB safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees. Leads safety and housekeeping efforts and corrective actions within assigned projects and areas. Exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example.
· Responsible for meeting established goals and objectives. Acts as a technical resource for the organization.
· Utilizes SPC methods and six sigma methodology to eliminate special cause and reduces common cause variation while striving for continuous improvement
· Ensures customer satisfaction through process control and standardization. Operates, control and maintains furnace and forehearth to ensure safe, efficient and cost effective operation. Monitors energy prices and usage and recommends most cost effective energy input. Monitors furnace and forehearth condition and takes appropriate preventive actions to prevent furnace outage or leaks. Knows response to power outage procedures, as well as glass leak procedures, etc.
· Writes and maintains job instructions, process setup sheets and process check sheets utilizing coach and primary employee feedback.
· Initiate cost reduction ideas into the fiberglass melting and forming process to further the goal of being the safest, high quality, low cost fiberglass producer. Conducts production trials with both product and or process improvement studies that support continued improvement efforts.
· Directs multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizes completion of projects according to company objectives. Documentation of projects and process changes are communicated and updated.
· Ensure process setups are documented, communicated and adhered to on a daily basis to meet customer and company standards.
· Maximizes production efficiency. Identifies opportunities for productivity improvements and takes appropriate action. Optimizes existing processes and products.
Background profile:
BS Chemical, Ceramic, Materials Science or equivalent required.
At least 8-10+ year's hands-on furnace engineering experience in a glass plant.
Working knowledge of SPC and six sigma methodology.
Proficient skills in Microsoft applications.
Self-directed team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join our growing SOC team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and monitor endpoint platforms for security risks to detect and act as escalation point for advanced threats/issues.
Perform security event triage and initial incident response to detected threats.
Assist other groups by providing endpoint log and troubleshooting information to resolve production issues.
Regularly plan and update/create endpoint policies or controls as needed to enhance security.
Identify potential gaps and offer solutions to include internal team needs, product improvements and client security postures.
Communicate and enforce Information Security policies.
Coordinates with other team members and management to investigate, document and report incidents.
Regularly create and maintain high quality documentation for knowledgebases, changes, and procedures.
Collaborate with our Threat Analysis Unit to provide in depth reports of confirmed security incidents and produce technical threat advisory broadcasts about new and emerging threats.
Assist/lead new endpoint product implementation to clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Expertise in Application Control (WDAC, Carbon Black Application Control)
Experience with endpoint security tools, Nextgen Anti-Virus (NGAV), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
Experience with APIs as they relate to security tools.
Proficiency with three or more of the below:
Threat Hunting.
SIEM and Log Management experience (Splunk, IBM QRadar, HP ArcSight, LogRhythm, Stellar Cyber, etc.).
Analysis and Forensic Tools (FTK, EnCase, ProcMon, WireShark, etc.).
Malware sandboxing experience.
Penetration Testing Tools (Metasploit, Kali, Atomic Red Canary, etc.).
IOC Management.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of professional work experience in the cybersecurity industry.
The ideal candidate will have mac OS and Windows operating system experience, as well as scripting skills. Linux/Unix skills are a plus.
Strong analytical skills to define risk, identify potential threats, and develop and document action/mitigation plan.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to mentor/train staff and bring awareness to current and emerging threats.
Ability to work efficiently and self-motivate with little to no supervision.
Certification/training a plus: CISSP, SAN GIAC Certifications (GCIH, GPEN, GSEC, etc.), CompTIA (Security+, CYSA+, etc.), Carbon Black/VMware, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, etc.
Strong written and verbal communications skills with an ability to present technical risks and issues to technical and non-technical audiences internal and external to the organization.
Regulatory experience is a plus (GDPR, ISO27K, SSAE16, HIPAA, PCI, FISMA, etc.).
