Key Responsibilities: Consulting and Advisory: Provide expert engineering and consulting services to clients, helping them understand and maximize the value of Microsoft 365 products. Mentor and guide engineering teams with architect-level oversight to ensure best practices and scalable solutions. Deployment and Configuration: Lead the deployment, configuration, and management of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and other Microsoft 365 products. Oversee the development of best practices and standards for deployment and configuration. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. Mobile Device Management (MDM): Design and implement Intune in customer environments for all OS platforms, with the ability to replicate and optimize configurations and processes from other MDMs such as Workspace ONE, Ivanti, JAMF, and on prem tools and infrastructure. Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment to protect organizational data. Virtualization: Develop business case, technical, and risk assessments for VDI use cases and drive customers towards adoption of the selected solution between Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop, with the ability to deploy either solution effectively. Identity and Access Management: Design and configure Entra ID for identity and access management, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO). Conditional Access: Design and implement conditional access policies to ensure secure access to resources based on user, location, device, and risk. IT Infrastructure: Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Microsoft 365 solutions with existing IT infrastructure, including network, servers, and storage. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Microsoft 365-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, both for managed services and professional services. Knowledge Transfer and Documentation: Develop and deliver knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams. Create comprehensive documentation for solutions and best practices. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 features and updates and proactively recommend improvements to enhance customer value. Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 products, including Intune, Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender. Minimum 5-7 years of experience working as an engineer or support personnel for on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Advanced ability to leverage scripting, automation, coding, and AI tools where necessary. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. Ability to develop solutions based on specific customer requirements. Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and demonstrate the value of Microsoft 365 products.
