Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
Experience
* Specialized training and/or experience in basic applied behavior principles to include understanding of plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions/replacement behaviors, and risk identification/amelioration.
* Two years' experience with the identified population, individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
* Continuing Education Training- Documented completion of 10 hours of annual training related to behavior supports offered through courses, seminars, or conferences and/or training provided by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Models and trains staff in the principles and practice of Positive Behavior Support methodology. • Serves as a member of Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) providing expertise re: behavioral issues. • Responsible for Behavior Plan assessment, design, training, monitoring, and reporting. • Conducts descriptive and systematic (e.g., analogue) behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results. • Provides direct behavioral treatment to clients via replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, group behavioral treatment, individual behavioral treatment, and/or skills coaching in all applicable settings• Participates in on-call rotation for behavior issues.• Monitors restraint use and provides training to reduce. • Monitors challenging behavior. • Participates in Behavior Intervention Committee, Human Rights Committee and other relevant committees, as assigned • Shall provide individualized services to meet the treatment needs of each of the specialty intermediate care (IC) clinic patients for services in field of care. Shall meet requirements of 902 KAR 20:410 Specialty Intermediate Care Clinics as warranted. • Learn and follow all policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintains an active License with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Social Worker in the State of California and eligibility to serve as a field placement instructor and provide supervision of social work interns participating in the student training program. Licensure for a minimum of two years is preferred by the time that student supervision begins.

JOB PURPOSE:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
TRAINING PROGRAM:
Provides supervision to training program students, including social work trainees, as deemed appropriate and within supervision requirements to comply with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and Board of Psychology (BOP).
Serves as a field placement instructor responsible for supervision of MSW student/intern(s) participating in C&FC's student training program.
Work with each MSW trainee to develop a Learning Agreement that takes into account the educational assessment of the student, the education goals, core or advanced competencies, and the related practice behaviors of the student's School of Social Work. This serves as a guide for ongoing supervision, identifying learning opportunities, and for final evaluation.
Provides in-service training to psychology interns and practicum students on mental health topics, as required.
Participates in recruiting and screening psychology interns and practicum students.
Provides support with designing, implementing, and reviewing internship and practicum policies and procedures, as well as orientation, training, and supervision materials.
Coordinates development, tracking, announcement, and publication of training and related materials (e.g., policies and procedures).
Maintains training records in compliance with contractual obligations.
CLINICAL SERVICES:

Position Overview:
Provide intake assessments, group therapy, and coordinate referrals to appropriate services as recommended. Provide individual and group therapy in a community-based outpatient clinic. Using CareLogic software, the Clinician will document all clinical services provided in accordance with DMHAS and SCSI expectations. The Clinician is expected to manage the caseload assigned, including all documentation, in a timely manner, and to attend team meetings and clinical supervisions.
Essential Function:
Provides clinical services to persons enrolled in the outpatient program.
Documents outpatient services rendered through the completion of progress notes that include description of the nature of the service, the persons response to the therapeutic intervention and its relation to the goals of treatments.
Provides individual, group and family therapy to an assigned case load.
Completes treatment plan reviews that include updates on client progress at least every ninety (90) days and discharge summaries whenever a case is closed.
Documents all client contacts in the client's record.
Completes all documentation i.e. referrals, treatment plans and reassessments and progress notes in accordance with the agency's Quality Assurance standards and in a timely manner.
Provides appropriate linkage with community resources, e.g., meal centers social rehabilitation, case management and residential services.
Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of all agency programs and program criteria.
Documentation is legible and relates directly to recovery plan goals.
Master electronic health record functionality.
Manages case load, regular reviews of CareLogic System, performing utilization review independently.
Participates in individual and group clinical supervision, multi-disciplinary team meetings, agency committees and program safety drills.
Participates in community awareness presentations as a representative of SCSI.
Adheres to all agency policies and procedures, including but not limited to confidentiality and the code of ethics.
Attends and participates in training, both to maintain State of CT licensure, based on the needs of the agency and populations served.

Meets productivity requirements, as outlined by the agency.
Will attend adequate clinical supervision by LCSW to achieve successful completion of licensure testing in two (2) years from start date- resulting in LCSW/LPC licensure.

McGregor PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a community-based service program that provides in-home healthcare services to the elderly.
PACE is not a nursing home. However, an alternative to nursing home placement is allowing Seniors to remain at home.
McGregor PACE is seeking a qualified Social Worker (MSW, LSW) to work with an Interdisciplinary team in managing a caseload of 55-62 seniors, alongside team members.
McGregor PACE aims to have our participants remain in the community with the support of our Day Health Center services and staff. This candidate must be willing to conduct semi/annual assessments of PACE applicants and care plans.
The MSW along with other team members, will be responsible for communicating with community agencies, participants, and families on an ongoing basis.

Conducts semi/annual assessments of PACE applicants.

This position covers the Menominee, Delta, and Dickinson counties in the Upper Peninsula. Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (certified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board)
Experience
* Specialized training and/or experience in basic applied behavior principles to include understanding of plan implementation, data collection, behavior interventions/replacement behaviors, and risk identification/amelioration.
* Two years' experience with the identified population, individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
* Continuing Education Training- Documented completion of 10 hours of annual training related to behavior supports offered through courses, seminars, or conferences and/or training provided by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Models and trains staff in the principles and practice of Positive Behavior Support methodology. • Serves as a member of Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) providing expertise re: behavioral issues. • Responsible for Behavior Plan assessment, design, training, monitoring, and reporting. • Conducts descriptive and systematic (e.g., analogue) behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results. • Provides direct behavioral treatment to clients via replacement skills training, social skills training, crisis de-escalation, group behavioral treatment, individual behavioral treatment, and/or skills coaching in all applicable settings• Participates in on-call rotation for behavior issues.• Monitors restraint use and provides training to reduce. • Monitors challenging behavior. • Participates in Behavior Intervention Committee, Human Rights Committee and other relevant committees, as assigned • Shall provide individualized services to meet the treatment needs of each of the specialty intermediate care (IC) clinic patients for services in field of care. Shall meet requirements of 902 KAR 20:410 Specialty Intermediate Care Clinics as warranted. • Learn and follow all policies and procedures.

* Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to make independent decisions with good judgment and attention to detail.
