The Sr. Research Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in pre-award functions such as preparing grant applications to ensure conformity with relevant sponsor guidelines, regulations, and hospital policy. Coordinating collection of grant application materials and receipt of institutional reviews and approvals to ensure timely submissions.
  • Preparing financial transactions, such as employee travel and other reimbursements, approving purchase requisitions in accordance with sponsor and hospital policy.

  • Assisting in the review of financial reports to monitor grant expenses to ensure compliance with sponsored award terms/conditions. Assisting in preparing effort and financial reports.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree and strong coursework in finance. 1-2 years' experience in an office setting working with numbers. Solid MS Office skills esp Excel.

  • Responsible for pre- and post-award activities for a portfolio of investigators. These responsibilities include timely and compliant proposal preparation, submission, and post-award management.
