About the Role This role is responsible for supporting investment management in the Wealth Management department. Follows fiduciary and prudent investor guidelines to assist in creating, monitoring and maintaining the Wealth Management guidelines. Responsible for investment support to the Portfolio Managers.

Analyze and purchase individual stocks and bonds as delegated by Portfolio Managers.
Present investment information at client meetings, including performance results.
Aid in the preparation of requests for proposals and other internal or external meeting documents.
Assist with the valuation of closely held assets in fiduciary accounts as needed.
Business development through client meetings and contact with referral sources, including private banking, business banking, centers of influence, etc.
Participates in discussions in strategic meetings to discuss investment initiatives and pipeline calls.

Strong analytical skills are crucial for evaluating financial data, developing strategies, and making informed investment decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed to build trust with clients, explain complex concepts, and maintain strong client relationships.

A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related area is required.
Obtaining certifications like the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP ) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are preferred.
2 years or more relevant experience in investment management, financial markets, portfolio management, or a related field.
