Summary
We invite applications for a 2-year postdoctoral research position in Safe and Explainable Multiagent Reinforcement Learning (MARL). This position is supported by an NSF-funded project focused on developing foundational methods for ensuring the safety and interpretability of MARL systems.

Essential Functions:
You will work with the PI and collaborators in advancing theoretically sound and practically applicable MARL algorithms, with an emphasis on safety, explainability, and robust real-world deployment. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to one or more of the following areas:
Safe Learning in MARL
* Learning robust policies under uncertainty with built-in safety mechanisms
Policy Explainability and Testing
* Developing tools and methods to visualize, explain, and verify MARL policies
Robustness and Fault Tolerance
* Designing MARL algorithms resilient to adversarial conditions or partial failures
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Strong background in reinforcement learning (preferably MARL)
* Proficiency with machine learning tools (e.g., PyTorch, RL libraries)
* Strong publication record in relevant venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, AAAI, AAMAS)
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
* Experience in formal verification, interpretability, or AI safety

What you will do
As a Wholesale Analyst, you will manage the operational responsibilities for an assigned dealer portfolio. Working closely with your Wholesale teammates, as well as other colleagues cross-functionally, you will:
* Ensure defined operational turnaround protocols for dealer funding, payment application, document preparation, and other tasks.
* Process all wholesale funding and payment requests, both timely and accurately, investigate and resolve billing and contract issues, respond timely to dealer inquiries.
* Track, close and report on audit performance, including discrepancies, highlighting potential problems/issues at a dealership.
* Ensure VFS security perfection with respect to such areas as UCC, PMSI, etc., inter-creditor agreements as well as other security perfection documentation. This is achieved through preparing and maintaining security perfection documents, searches, filings and preparation of inter-creditor and/or subordination agreements.
* Collect monthly charges and payments.
* Work with accounting to reconcile any GL issues related to wholesale.
* Ensure contracts are properly set up in WFS (SFPW) with a high level of accuracy and speed.
* Prepare dealer loan documentation (new & renewal), ensure all documents are complete and executed correctly and returned by the dealer.
* Send, track, and obtain annual dealership ownership certificates, KYC, and AML checks.
* Ensure dealer insurance policies coverage for both floor plan and lease line are renewed timely meeting VFS's requirements.
* Perform dealer affiliated lease line audits through analysis of leasing businesses and associated documentation.
* Spread financial statements and provide comments and analysis as needed.
* Provide New Employee Training & Internal Employee cross training.
* Utilize SFPW (WFS) to perform operations, audit, reporting and testing tasks.
* Comply with any local regulatory requirements as well as Volvo Group and VFS internal requirements.
* Help develop, maintain, and utilize operational dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI or similar tools) to monitor funding turnaround times, audit performance, exception trends, and portfolio risk indicators.
* Analyze datasets to identify process gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
* Partner with cross-functional teams (Credit, Risk, IT, Operations, Accounting, Legal) to drive process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives.
* Document workflows, metrics, and control points to support continuous improvement (VPS), audit readiness, and scalability of US operations.
Who are you?
You are a problem-solver with 3 or more years of experience in wholesale, floor plan or financial services-related activities and a thorough understanding of wholesale documentation requirements and security perfection. Your organization and prioritization skills are exemplary and you understand those are keys to success in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You exhibit strong communication skills - both oral and written - and are fluent in English. In your previous work experience, you have demonstrated an ability to leverage technical tools to review, analyze and report on data and business trends and you are comfortable presenting these trends to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. These tools include the Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI (or similar business intelligence and data visualization tool), and your level of expertise in Excel includes pivot tables and data modeling. You also bring a process improvement mindset to your work that will be complimented by our internal Volvo Performance System (VPS).
Other experience and education that would set a foundation for success in this role include:
* BA/BS in business or related field
* Foundational understanding of financial analysis including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, projection analysis and financial statement spreading

Summary
The purpose of the Research Associate position is to provide support on biomarker studies to meet the company's goals, objectives and quality standards.
Responsibilities
-Responsible for cell experiments in vitro, pre-treatment and processing of tissue samples, and execution of a variety of experiments including but not limited to: flow cytometry, pathology/IHC, proteomics, hematology
- Carry out work in strict accordance to SOPs and training sessions.
- Carefully record the experimental process and data and submit timely reports to supervisors.
- Analyze, summarize, and report experimental data and relevant documents to supervisors.
- Effective communication within the global biomarker team and with other departments.
- Participate in the support and daily management of the laboratory team.
- Manage biomarker lab facilities according to experiment needs and quality systems.

Minimum Requirements
- B.S. or above in biotechnology, cell biology, immunology, oncology or other related disciplines.
- Hands on experience (minimum 1 year) with flow cytometry experiments and data analysis.
- Able to operate routine experiments in vitro, such as cell count, cell resuscitation and cryopreservation, and separation of PBMC.
- Knowledge of basic proteomics principles, especially related to plate based detection systems (ELISA, MSD, etc.)
- Proficient in using MS Office software and familiar with statistical analysis and the application of related analysis software.
- At least three years of combined experience in a field related to flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, or proteomics.
