As a Platform Engineer, you are expected to be a subject matter expert with hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Server or Red Hat Enterprise Linux technologies, tools and methodologies, preferably with a focus on automation. Responsibilities
Develop, update, maintain, and implement automation to simplify and streamline the management of the Windows server environment
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server or Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems and their management tools
Creation and modification of AD groups, objects, and policies as they relate to the management of Windows/Linux Servers
Develop, update, maintain, and implement server hardening policies
Provide day-to-day operational support and perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
Participate in after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis
Monitor compliance with the organization's information security policies and procedures among employees, contractors and third parties, and manage remediation efforts for any gaps reported in audits or recommended process improvements
Respond to security vulnerabilities identified through periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments of the Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Cloud infrastructures
