Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:
• Reviewing and documenting current MRO processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers and Quality Assurance on resolving supplier inquiries for information and product defects.
• Analyzes and modifies product designs in collaboration with other teams such as Design Engineering to assure manufacturability.
• Develops design, selection, specification, and optimization of the required equipment, fixtures, tooling, gaging, processes, and operations.
• Determines other technical matters required to make a given product according to the desired volume, timetable, cost, quality level, and other specifications. Includes the monitoring of established processes via data collection for statistical analysis purposes as well as the use of various continuous improvement enablers.
• May evaluate manufacturing capability and provide technical support at the supply base.
• Develops procedures for the economical mass production in cooperation with pilot-plant and production departments.
• Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables; and services, troubleshoots and solves production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
• Reviews field support requirements and recommends tools and test equipment.
• Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment.
• May make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials.
