About the role

This Principal Mechanical Engineering position performs in alignment to expectations in the design, development and production support areas associated with mechanical designs, validation principals, qualification processes, procurement, and production processes across a design life cycle. Development work may include requirements understanding, concept development, DFMAs, PFMAs, margin analysis, technical data package (TDP) development, application of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principals, engineering test principals, preparation of technical analysis reports, and presentations in design reviews.
This position is in on-site and located in Louisville, KY.

* Creation and maintenance of detailed engineering documentation
* Be seen as a Subject Matter Expert for Mechanical Design issues providing mentorship, development and review of lower-level Engineer's work.
