Overview:
The Engineering Mechanic is responsible for performing skilled repairs to the building and equipment and to maintain the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and employees.
Responsibilities:
Answer all guest issues
Answer all in-house departmental calls
Replace guest unit motor, thermostats, valves
Repair / replace all tub / sink faucets and associated piping
Remove and replace toilets
Replace light bulbs, repair lamps, replace outlets, switches, - guest room and public areas
Repair vacuum cleaners
Work with engineers on all piping jobs
Work with engineers on guest unit replacement
Remove and replace guest unit covers and side panels
Replace, adjust, reset all TV's
Clear all sink tub, and toilet stoppages
Change guest room filters
Replace smoke detector batteries
Remove and install guest room safes, bathroom locks, and closet door knobs
Remove & install hairdryers, mirrors, shower rods, towel racks, iron board and brackets

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a hands-on role in developing, improving, and supporting our production processes on flight-critical products. This is not a desk-only role - you'll be on the floor working closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to troubleshoot issues, refine workflows, create clear work instructions, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
Design and create new process flow and work instructions with the correct process lead times, capacity analysis, and resources (machines and labor).
Assist in the development and implementation of advanced production processes and tooling methodologies.
Develop and execute engineering evaluation plans for experimental or analysis of new materials, new processes or new improvements.
Resolve technical process problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
Review, analyze and coordinate the implementation of methods and procedures to control and improve manufacturing processes. Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Implement and maintain process FMEA (Failure mode and effect analysis) on all DG core processes in the effort to mitigate the risk of process failures and their severity.
Maintain DG manufacturing best practice database and workmanship standard.
Interpret company policies and maintain safety and quality standards.
Perform additional tasks assigned by management
Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related Engineering field
5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment (not just exposure - must have owned/manipulated processes)
Hands-on experience developing or improving manufacturing processes, work instructions, or tooling
Practical experience supporting assembly or production floor activities, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements
Working knowledge of one or more manufacturing methods such as machining, composites, forming, joining, or assembly (does not need to be all)
Strong analytical skills - able to collect data, identify root causes, and develop solutions
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills - able to work effectively with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
English fluency (written & verbal)
Preferred:
Experience with FMEA, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement programs
Experience in aerospace/defense or another regulated high-reliability manufacturing environment

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer to support the design, assembly, integration, and testing of electric propulsion thrusters for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with propulsion system hardware, electrical and plasma thrusters, and production line processes to ensure reliable, repeatable, and high-quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for electric propulsion thrusters and subsystems, including assembly, bonding, welding, and integration.
Support production line setup, tooling design, and workflow optimization to improve yield, cycle time, and throughput.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of propulsion system components and assemblies.
Define and implement quality control procedures including ESD protection, contamination control, vacuum compatibility, and leak testing.
Support the assembly, integration, and verification (AIV) of propulsion modules, including electrical connections, harness routing, and fluid/electrical interfaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plasma thrusters, ion engines, Hall-effect thrusters, and PPU integration.

Under supervision of the Vice President of R&D, the Product Development Engineer II is responsible for researching and developing new production processes or products from bank human tissue, making modifications to existing manufacturing systems and processes, and to improve the overall efficiency of the R&D department.
Duties and responsibilities
Evaluate the feasibility of selected concepts to meet the clinical and customer needs.
Generate design history documents in compliance with regulating bodies.
Expert ability to design research approaches and design of experiments for assigned projects.
Identify needs and goals for a new products and processes, including defining specifications and tolerances captured in user and engineering requirements.
Coordinating with marketing and material suppliers to evaluate market needs and identify existing competition.
Coordinating with finance to develop timelines and project plans and cost estimates of new products/processes developed, and to appraise management of performance against plan.
Plan and organize engineering runs, including writing of validation protocols and testing instructions, and performing trials and analyzing data.
Works specifically to develop new tissue products or processes and ensure proper technology transfer occurs, including identification of material and service suppliers, writing the necessary work instructions and SOPs, ensuring the final product/process meets regulatory compliance, and product safety.
Can provide mentorship to junior scientists and engineers, including students and interns, to promote skills and growth.

Requirements:
Qualifications
BS, Advanced degree (Master's, PhD) a plus, in engineering. Relevant experience in product development preferred.
CTBS certified (or certified within two years of employment)
Thorough understanding of design control processes and requirements.
Strong knowledge of AATB and FDA regulations as they pertain to human tissue banks.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills.
Demonstrates excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
