Emphasis will be placed on vibratory, media, robotic abrasive sanding, laser ablating of precision CNC machined components, and machining and assembly of precision firearm components utilizing clearly defined technical drawings and interchangeable parts. In addition, this position will require execution of manufacturing feasibility, quality planning, and corrective action for internal quality concerns. FLSA: Exempt Job Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing firearm product designs while providing budgetary estimates for equipment, tools, gages, and production rate. Use project management techniques to procure tooling and equipment for new products to meet launch timelines and cost targets. Identify areas for improvement and conduct formal cost savings analysis using established procedures. Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements to quality and throughput. Evaluate and improve product designs for manufacturability while applying GD&T and dimensional stack-ups.
