Required Skills:

5+ years of professional software development experience.

Experience with writing unit tests, doing cross-validation, and robustness testing/evaluation of models.

Vehicle Benchmarking
Coordinates and manages the research, evaluation, and analyses of automotive components as well as competitor

Coordinates and manages benchmarking activities of competitor vehicles.

Plans, coordinates, manages, and measures vehicle factors such as active noise cancellation (ANC), acceleration
noise/vibration, wind noise, road noise/vibration, charging noise/vibration, etc. and implements results into next generation mass-production vehicles.
Provides findings and feedback of results to SBR, SIA, and/or SOA.
Promotes work not only for qualitative evaluation, but also to be able to set the required characteristics numerically to
drop them into the drawings.
Develops tools for efficient numerical analysis and makes full use of Python, etc., to link the sensations felt by people
with numerical values, clarify the correlation, and incorporate the values into drawings as requirement values.
Using computer-aided design (CAD), virtual reality (VR), three-dimensional (3D) printers, and computer numerical
control (CNC) mills, creates fabrications and mockups and conducts surveys of customers using those fabrications and
mockups to reflect the results in future vehicles.
Investigates, analyzes, and shares information about external potential partners and vendors such as recycled plastic
suppliers and EV battery recyclers, repairers, and remanufacturers.

The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning.

Today, nearly 200 people around the globe work on Speechify in a 100% distributed setting - Speechify has no office. These include frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and others from Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, leading PhD programs like Stanford, high growth startups like Stripe, Vercel, Bolt, and many founders of their own companies.
This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

What You'll Do
Researching and implementing state-of-the-art in NLP and TTS or CV with a focus on image generation
Work on building the most human sounding AI speech model in the world
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
Experience with research and development in NLP or TTS or CV with a focus on image generation.
Experience in ML
Preferred
:
Experience deploying NLP or TTS models to production at a large scale
Experience managing engineers and growing a research & development team
Experience programming in Python: Tensorflow and PyTorch frameworks specifically.

The United States Based Salary range for this role is: 140,000-200,000 USD/Year + Bonus + Stock depending on experience

What you'll do...
Leads detailed design reviews with suppliers, to optimize and ensure high quality design meeting Ford's standards.
Lead quoting and sourcing process with Purchasing.
Support Ford's optical requirements and measurements methods.
Support Ford's display technology road map including optical and electrical interface.
Work with Digital Product Team to ensure technology road map is aligned with their digital experience.
Drive continuous improvements in products and internal processes.
Create display design rules and best practices.
Support warranty failure analysis and resolution.
Leads TDRs for System/Subsystem/Component.
Signoff of System/Subsystem/Component with specific signoff responsibility.
Go-To for Problem Solving - Launch, Recall, Quality / Field Issues.
Interface with Display Application Engineers globally.
Work with Display Technical Specialist and suppliers to investigate and assess future display technologies.
Support in the development of global display specifications.
Support display component and subsystem (i.e. cluster and center stack) technical design reviews.
Support next generation display / IVI interface architecture development.
Lead design cost savings idea development and implementation.
