Summary
The part-time Development and Strategics Partnerships Intern will work directly under the supervision and guidance of the Development Coordinator. This position will be responsible for supporting development staff, exploring all aspects of the fundraising pipeline from prospect research to solicitation to stewardship; supporting ongoing and event-driven media relations and fundraising activities; supporting the amplification of women leaders in our Global Leadership Network; and promoting all regional and issue-area programmatic activities. The Intern will work across a portfolio of projects alongside and learning from cross-functional teams with leaders and peers with varying backgrounds, education, and experiences. This role is based in Washington, DC with the requirement of a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

What You'll Do:

Example of Essential Functions:
* Performs Dishroom Duties.
* Washes, rinses and sanitizes pots and pans.
* Changes water as necessary in dish machine and pot skin.
* Scrapes, loads and unloads dishes from dish machine.
* Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation in dishroom. Including tables, wall, floor, conveyor belt, shelves, and drains.
* Safely and sanitarily disassembles and thoroughly cleans all inner components of, and the inside of the machine daily for routine cleaning and assembles at start of shift.
* Delimes dish machine on a weekly basis as assigned.
* Maintains all departmental soap and paper towel dispenser with soap and towels daily.
