Zenfreed is seeking an experienced Technical Interviewer to conduct structured interviews for Business Analyst (BA), Project Manager (PM), and Developer roles. This is an as-needed contract position, ideal for a technologist or IT professional who enjoys evaluating talent and helping identify top candidates for our clients. The Technical Interviewer will independently conduct live, one-on-one interviews with candidates, focusing on technical and role-specific qualifications. After each interview, they will complete Zenfreed's standardized cover sheet and provide written notes summarizing key findings and recommendations. Job Duties Conduct live, one-on-one technical interviews via video conference for candidates in BA, PM, and Developer roles. Assess candidate knowledge of relevant tools, technologies, and methodologies, including Java, .NET, React, Angular, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Clarity, and MS Project. Evaluate communication, problem-solving, and professional fit (secondary to technical skill assessment). Create tailored interview questions based on s provided by Zenfreed. Complete Zenfreed's standardized interview cover sheet and provide narrative notes, findings, and a clear recommendation. Communicate directly with candidates to schedule and confirm interviews. Return all interview documentation within one business day (preferably within 8 hours) of completing the interview. Participate in occasional calibration or training meetings with Zenfreed's recruiting team before initial assignments. Maintain confidentiality regarding all client and candidate information. RequirementsIdeally 3+ years experience: IT, software development, project management, or business analysis Prior experience interviewing or recruiting technical professionals required. Broad understanding of IT concepts, SDLC, and common development frameworks. Strong written communication skills; ability to summarize interviews clearly and professionally. Reliable access to computer, webcam, and stable internet connection. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Desired Skills Experience supporting State or Federal government IT contracts. Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, Clarity, and MS Project. Comfort assessing both technical and soft skills. Minimum Education College degree preferred, but not required. Location Remote (U.S.-based preferred, Eastern Time availability required). Candidates located in Michigan preferred, but not required.
