**Role Summary**
Under close and direct supervision, provide basic, routine support for one or more construction or administration-related functions including but not limited to project management, estimating, safety, accounting, etc., to support Company policies and objectives and which provide meaningful real-world, hands-on experience to complement on-going college-level classroom education.
**Key Role Responsibilities - Core**
Campus Interns will have the opportunity to:
+ Work with the project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
+ Provide progress updates and reports
+ Conduct job site observations with project leadership
+ Support the close out of projects, including the punchlist, operations and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, etc.
+ Support vendor/trade partner pricing/bid solicitation and coordination
+ Participate in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture
+ Work collaboratively and create relationships with project team members, trade partners, vendors and clients
+ Perform other duties as required by supervisor

Job Duties:
Students may be involved in one or many of the following:
* Research the viability of a new program or initiative; compile and present statistics.
* Clean up, edit and update a database.
* Conduct a failure analysis and investigation.
* Evaluate and improve efficiency, streamline programs, or cut costs.
* Perform a study or survey; analyze and present results.
* Compile employee manuals or develop process directions for tasks.
* Conduct a cost benefit analysis to upgrade on a specific material/machine.
* Design tooling or ground support equipment.
* Work on a continuous improvement project resulting in a measurable improvement.
* Carries out other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
* Completion of two years of education in engineering related curriculum
* Project Management Experience with CAD and simulation software
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S Principles
* Lean Green Belt Certification preferred
* Project Experience in manufacturing setting preferred
* The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints.
* The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
* The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
* The ability to sit for extended periods of time.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
