Job Responsibilities
To collaborate with Global Service Line Management to execute R&D projects for aftermarket products and services, with special focus on polymers.Apply technical engineering knowledge and experience to understand project objectives and prepare requirement specifications.Perform project planning activities by ensuring accurate and realistic estimates are provided to the R&D leadership and other stakeholders,. May require agile or adaptive planning throughout the overall project life cycle.Executes R&D projects by ensuring that discrete development stages are clearly defined throughout the project lifecycle in a cross-functional project organization, ensuring task and stage completion, schedule and budget performance, while following the requirements established in R&D quality and process documentation.Participates in project portfolio and program management activities by providing accurate and timely input and estimates in support to the R&D & Global Service Line Management.

What You Bring
Master's degree in either mechanical engineering, tool and die design or polymers.5+ years of experience in design of open cast and injection mould tooling for poly components preferable Experience with latest technologies in tool design / tooling like additive manufacturing, vacuum moulding / casting, thermoforming, etc.Good knowledge in polymer chemistry Working experience on circularity / sustainability initiatives like recycling / downcycling of polymers and its reinforcements while establishing and retaining partnerships for technology acquisition and with segregators, recyclers, foundries, etc. for service delivery Ability to interface with internal and external customers, project teams and all levels of management in a global, culturally diverse environment Fluency in English is required Spanish: fluent Use of MS-Project, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools

+ Lead complex programs and projects, negotiating trade-offs, determining and contributing to the right project components to deliver winning business results.

+ Establish work plans for each project in accordance with the Design Control Procedure in coordination with key stakeholders, i.e. Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing along with R&D.

+ Working with financial associates to establish and update project budgets and targeted product financials.

+ Coordination of activities of project team members to ensure progress through development phases while addressing project schedule and product technical risks.

+ Confer with project personnel to resolve problems.

**How will you get here?**

+ Bachelors in Engineering or Physics required.

+ PMP certification and/or Master's degree/advanced degree preferred.

+ Minimum of 8-10 years related work experience leading NPI projects.

+ Experience leading cross functional teams and a portfolio of projects is desirable.

+ Experience in analytical chemistry, diagnostic or life science instrumentation strongly preferred.

SCOPE:

The Research and Development Project Manager is a new role at Double Good, who will be responsible for creating the commercialization process and project management structure. Our Research and Development Project Manager will partner with leaders and our cross functional teams to drive commercialization across a variety of projects; brand redesign, new flavors, and supply improvements. The Research and Development Project Manager is accountable for commercializing aligned projects through the Commercialization Process from idea concept through to product launch.

Requirements

YOU CAN DO THESE THINGS:

Project Management routine cross functionally, ensuring timelines, data requirements and deliverables are accurately and timely delivered

Work with supply chain, purchasing, planning, regulatory, QA, operations, sales and packaging to manage projects from idea, to production scale-up and all the way to product launch

Moderates regular timeline meetings with cross functional team members involved in the commercialization process.

Demonstrate leadership and ownership to drive projects to successful implementation, including managing and executing complex and multi-faceted projects. Direct multiple, concurrent projects ensuring on-time completion.

Reports project status to the leadership team as required

Facilitate and lead pre-mortem discussions with key stakeholders communicating project scope, process, and ensure expectations are clearly defined and documentation requirements are in place

Complete full commercialization of new production for Double Good across all new flavors

Ensures specifications and supporting documentation are complete, accurate, and up to date for all assigned projects.

Project management as assigned

Manage internal and 3rd party lab activities including identifying test timing requirements, managing budgets and reporting

Learn and develop strong working knowledge of all production lines and the processes necessary to commercialize products

Ensure all products meet all quality, food safety and regulatory requirements and standards

Responsible for planning, executing, and closing commercialization projects (including postmortem)

YOU HAVE:

BS in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related field

5+ years of project management experience in the food manufacturing or CPG space

Passionate about food safety and quality

Strong organization skills and high level of attention to detail

Strong communication and influence: clear and concise

BONUS SKILLS:

Comfort level with project management software

PMP or equivalent certifications a plus
