Job Description:
M Science is looking for an Equity Research Associate to assist in leading a data-driven research approach to covering companies across various sectors/industries. The position will report into one of our Senior Analysts responsible for generating and publishing investment research. The responsibilities for this role include using proprietary data sets to build financial and statistical models, perform data analysis, write reports, update marketing materials, and service client requests. The individual should be proficient with Excel, mathematical modeling, and have a basic understanding of financial statements and accounting. Experience with Python, SQL, or R required. The individual should also be an effective written and verbal communicator. Additionally, the candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a creative thinker who has a strong interest in the intersection of “alternative data,” investment research, and financial markets.
Responsibilities:
Development and deployment of statistical models for estimation and prediction of corporate performance across various sectors.
Identify and execute creative ways to answer key industry questions using our proprietary data and insights.
Gather and analyze data from a variety of internal and external resources, including, but not limited to: proprietary datasets; company documents and materials; SEC/regulatory filings such as annual reports and 10Ks; industry publications; and online data services.
Write, edit, and publish equity research reports incorporating insights derived from financial and statistical models.
Vet new and unique data sets for relevancy to continually improve and broaden our scope and accuracy.
Perform ad hoc analyses in response to client requests.
Support the sales process by developing analyses for sales pitches and press releases.
Skills and Qualifications:
Functional understanding of data analysis using Python, SQL or R is a must.
Ability to identify and work with strategic data partners.
Responsible for forecasting KPIs and identifying key business/industry trends based on use of alternative data.
Experience working with and analyzing large data sets and in developing actionable intelligence from the data.
Degree from a top university with a consistent record of academic excellence, preferably in computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, finance or other program that is technical and quantitative in nature.

**The Opportunity**
The **Industrial Cybersecurity Analyst** contributes to technical consulting projects and implementation services for critical infrastructure clients. The Engineering Technician has the primary responsibility of ensuring the safe and efficient operation of decarbonization equipment. This equipment is in a pilot phase, and the Engineering Technician will be part of the team commissioning, operating, maintaining, and participating in the continuous improvement of the equipment. They will manually work with the mechanical components of the equipment and will participate in process improvements and enhancements based on their work.
Responsibilities
* Interact professionally with clients, ensuring effective communication as the pilot equipment is deployed on a customer site.
* Work in an industrial environment, including outdoor elements, and perform hands-on mechanical tasks.
* Communicate issues to other members of the engineering team for necessary adjustments and fixes.
* Document field modifications and changes to any pilot equipment, submitting them to the sustaining engineering team.
* Conduct preventative maintenance checks and dashboard monitoring for issues following the full installation and start-up of the equipment.
* Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Log and document equipment hours, performed maintenance, and material use.
Essential Skills

Work Environment
This role is onsite at a client location, with 80% of the work conducted outdoors. Required PPE includes a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and flame-resistant clothing, all provided by the company. The position involves a rotating schedule during the week of the monthly 'run,' with 12-hour shifts split between 6 am-6 pm and 6 pm-6 am.

Accountabilities
Understand Federal/State EPA requirements for hazardous waste disposal
Ship waste according to DOT requirements
Understand and manage chemicals base on physical and chemical properties for proper disposal

A special interest in quality outcomes and measurement drives much of the division s research they offer a 2-year vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship as well as an integrated residency program. OHSU s vascular surgeons operate out of the Knight Cardiovascular Institute.
The Genetic Aortopathy Research Assistant will support cutting-edge research in vascular surgery and genetic aortopathy by conducting laboratory experiments, managing mouse models, assisting with research participant coordination, and handling biospecimen collection and analysis. This role requires proficiency in laboratory techniques, animal model management, and compliance with research protocols to advance studies on genetic aortopathies, including vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Marfan syndrome, and Loeys-Dietz syndrome.
The Research Assistant will focus on immunohistochemical staining, immunoassays, fibroblast culture analysis, mouse model experiments, and laboratory maintenance while assisting with consenting research participants and biospecimen collection. Function/Duties of Position
Laboratory Research Duties
Perform immunohistochemical staining of human tissue samples.
