THIS IS A 12-MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION OR DIRECT HIRE WITH A PAY RATE OF $23.18/HOUR.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate in a team environment with minimal supervision to execute experimental refining catalyst preparations (5–20 kg scale) following established protocols, including crystallization, ion exchange, and calcination in the Pilot Plant.
Design and conduct experiments, generate reliable data, and analyze results to support Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) catalyst research projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional support groups to ensure timely delivery of results.
Manage and maintain data using electronic databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Prepare and present processed data (tables, graphs, and PowerPoint presentations) to supervisors and project teams.
Handle a full range of refining catalyst preparation and evaluation tasks, with the ability to scale up to 120 kg samples in a pilot plant environment.
Identify hazards, promote a culture of safety, and adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
