Key job responsibilities

Job Details Overview and Responsibilities
KEAD is seeking a qualified person with between 0 -10 years of education / work and team experience for our Seattle office. This position will focus on providing project and technical support regarding materials investigation to project leads throughout the organization. Duties include usage and maintenance of our materials lab's equipment, collection and organization of test data, writing technical reports, design and inspection support for some of our MEP, crane or structural projects as well as managing assigned projects as a Project PM. This position includes 10-20% travel which is mostly local.

• Site and laboratory work

Responsibilities of an D4ES Waste Disposition Specialist (Scientist) will involve supporting the project by:
* Maintaining compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, directives, and other binding

core elements of the Integrated Safety Management System/Environmental Management System
(ISMS/EMS).
* Participating in work planning, hazard identification and control, work performance within the controls

Summary
The Enterprise Sensory Food Technologist manages a variety of tasks related to the advancement of Sensory. They are responsible for the management of raw material evaluation and substitution/exception requests, approval, and communication with stakeholders in partner departments. The EM Compliance Scientist II is responsible for the qualification, repair, maintenance and compliance of laboratory instruments and software.
* Perform preventative maintenance and qualification activities on laboratory instrumentation as directed.

The Nondestructive Assay (NDA) organization provides NDA support throughout the CPCCo project, and is responsible for the certification, and technical validity of NDA systems, procedures, and data. We also support HMIS Safeguards and Security Measurement Control and Accountability (MC&A), Criticality Safety, Nuclear Safety, and waste management requirements.
The responsibilities of the NDA Scientist include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Performing NDA technical measurement oversight, NDA data quantification and qualification, and NDA quality assurance validation.
* Providing planning assistance for NDA capabilities required for D&D activities for D4 End States (D4ES) and other Hanford Projects as needed.
* Providing direction and oversight to HAMTC bargaining unit personnel.
* Understanding the Waste Projects and Operations waste acceptance criteria.
Basic Qualifications
* Senior Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with 6 or more years of relevant experience
* Principal Level Grade 19: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with 8 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience
Desired Qualifications
