Strong foundation in other heat transfer modes like conduction, convection, and radiation. * Familiarity with research publications and literature in the above topical areas. * Hands on work in a heat transfer research or test lab. Experience * A strong understanding of the fundamental physics of heat transfer, mass transfer, and fluid flow including two-phase flow and heat transfer. * Familiarity with heat transfer experimental methods and instrumentation. * Familiarity with modeling and conducting CFD simulations preferably including two-phase flow and heat transfer. * Demonstrated initiative and independent problem-solving capabilities. * Ability to manage several projects at once and meet deadlines. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Exceptional organization, coordination, and consultation skills.
