We seek an Ink Chemist who is equally comfortable formulating new inks in the lab and working hands-on with inkjet printers. Key Responsibilities Ink Formulation & Development Design and optimize ink formulations (solvent-based, ceramic, and specialty inks). Scale experimental recipes into pilot batches (up to 5 kg) while ensuring reproducibility. Tailor ink properties such as viscosity, surface tension, particle dispersion, and stability to match printhead requirements. Inkjet Printer Operation & Mechanisms Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot inkjet printers and test rigs. Understand printer subsystems (printhead, waveform, drop formation, ink delivery, curing/firing). Run print trials, capture print quality data, and feed results back into ink design. Applied Research & Process Innovation Conduct DOE studies to optimize color calibration, waveform tuning, and print consistency across machines.
