Supervise R&D batches, scale-up studies, and lab trial compounding activities.

Contribute innovative ideas for new equipment and processes, participating in the evaluation and introduction of new technologies.

Primary Purpose:
Under direct supervision of a Principal Investigator or designee, supports simple to moderately complex basic science research.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Contributes to basic and applied research activities; collects, analyzes, and processes laboratory samples or research data; performs a variety of tests, using routine and special techniques and methods.
2. May assist in report writing.
3. Advances expertise through education, training, and/or research experience.
4. Maintains and cleans laboratory rooms to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
5. Monitors inventory and places orders to ensure acceptable levels.
6. Performs other job duties as assigned or required.
Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 1. Proficient computer knowledge including Word, Excel, data entry skills; Internet research abilities.
2. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to maintain confidential information.
4. Ability to support a basic science laboratory.
5. Ability to understand and follow verbal or written instructions.
Required Certifications/Licensures:
Required Education: Some High School
Major (if required:
Required Experience: 0 - 2 years prior experience working in basic science laboratory or basic science laboratory skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in office management.
2. Computer knowledge.
3. Basic dental knowledge.
4. Prior research experience.
