The Research and Development (R&D) Engineer uses their technical design skills to drive the products from theoretical structural designs and calculations to the physical testing, approvals and certifications. As part of the AWIP Innovation Team, the R&D Engineer collaborates with the technical, design, and business development teams to take new product developments and improvement of existing products from the stages of concept, evaluation, design, validation, approval, product launch, and installation. This position will be critical in ensuring that AWIP remains ahead in the industry for innovative and sustainable building products. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
