A research fellow position is available in the Department of Radiation Oncology. The Mutter lab is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative post-doctoral fellow. The individual will be interested in basic and translational research training aimed at improving the lives of patients with cancer at Mayo Clinic. Mutter, M.D., is a radiation oncologist and physician scientist in the Department of Radiation Oncology and the Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He co-leads the Novel Therapeutics and Therapeutic Modalities Research Program of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. Provide Graduate Extension Assistantship Outputs:
* Create expected meat cutout yield of beef, pork, lamb, and chevon infographics.
* Create publications or fact sheets addressing current industry topics related to regulations and a "roadmap" for developing your marketing plan of local foods.
* Create curriculum to accompany the butcher beef cut model for Extension agents.
* Conduct Spring Local Meats webinar series and regional trainings as requested.
* Collaborate with NDSU Small Farms Team, FCW Extension, and Minnesota Local Foods Advisory Committee for curriculum development, and to enhance reach and amplify message of local meat production/consumption.
Assistantship appointments may vary in length and are contingent upon the availability of funding. Terms on duties and responsibilities will be provided on the graduate assistantship contract.
* Students must be registered for graduate credit each semester (fall and spring) they receive an assistantship and must be in good academic standing and maintaining satisfactory progress toward their degree. In addition, international students must maintain the appropriate residency status.
* Teaching assistants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency (refer to section titled "English Language Proficiency Procedures for Graduate Teaching Assistants").

**Qualifications**
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in an engineering discipline, with a sustained track record of success in extramural funding (current R01 or R01-equivalent funding as PI), publications, and collaboration with clinicians. Appointment and academic rank will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications. Successful candidates will be at the level of Associate or full tenured Professor.

**Compensation Detail**
The minimum starting salary for research specialties may range from $114,000 to $272,000. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties.
