Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE Working under limited supervision, coordinate research work in medical and related technical areas. The Research Assistant 3 will also perform data analysis on public and lab datasets using multi-omics approaches. The research assistant will also perform wet lab work in field of neurodegenerative diseases, involving use of lab/research skills involving mouse breeding, behavioral testing of mice, and surgical procedures in mice. (25%) * Devise new protocols and techniques for research projects involving a high degree of skill and training. Learn new techniques such as RNA in situ hybridization and further develop existing techniques used in the laboratory.
