WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * Develop and validate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Elemental Analysis using Digital Microscopes integrated with Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). * Conducted sample preparation and characterization on diverse materials, including metal particles in oil, ceramic refractories, and high-temperature exposed alloys. * Transform raw data into actionable technical insights, enabling the engineering team to make data-driven decisions regarding material performance. * Utilize various skill sets/knowledge during day-to-day operations and to achieve team/company goals. * Create a presentation at the end of your internship to executive leadership regarding what you have learned and what you believe you have contributed to the business.
