General Summary:
Under the direction of a portfolio manager or assistant portfolio manager, conduct research and make investment recommendations based on fundamental security analysis.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Learn the international equity investment process at STRS Ohio.
Support staff by building financial models for investment decisions.
Help research and evaluate securities and industries for investment merit.
Prepare and present assigned special projects.

Additionally, the successful candidate will recruit qualified undergraduate and graduate piano students, coordinate our collaborative piano program, and work closely with our full-time staff collaborative pianists.

Master's degree in a relative discipline combined with a minimum of seven years of relative experience.

Techniques used include whole-cell and dual dendritic-somatic patch-clamp, multiphoton imaging, and RNA sequencing.
Candidates should have a PhD in neuroscience or related field and excellent communication skills. Experience in electrophysiology and rodent animal models is highly desired. The position requires working with rodents including surgical procedures and euthanasia as well as a strong work ethic and engagement with relevant scientific literature.
