Under general guidance, the Administrative Research Associate III works closely with PI, providing technical and/or administrative support in large or multi-project oriented labs. May be requested by PI to take on specific supervisory activities, and provide administrative leadership, and/or technical expertise. May develop hypothesis and assist in planning steps for the investigative process. Will review and remain current on literature as it relates to clinical/research study. Coordinates all lab and/or clinical activities, including but not limited to, budgetary/financial compliance, preparation of grant proposals, and creating independent presentations. Not responsible for generating grant funds.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides miscellaneous clinical/research support (ad hoc data analysis, hypothesis development, programming, troubleshooting, etc.).
Organizes clinical/research trials in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and sponsor and/or funding source.
Monitors and ensures compliance with safety standards and procedures
Analyzes data and prepares scientific findings for publication as author or co-author.
May make independent presentations
May provide system administration and maintenance for the local workstation network.
Leads and trains Research Lab Assistants, Research Fellow, lower level Research Associates, and other related support staff and may be requested by PI to take on specific supervisory activities.
Orients new Research Fellows and/or Research Scientists to day-to-day lab operations and procedures.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry or related science field.
Experience:
Two (2) years minimum experience in research specialty required
Three (3) years of research lab experience required
Department Specific Experience:
Strong aseptic technique
Molecular laboratory techniques such as RNA isolation, DNA synthesis, PCR, Western blotting, Gel Electrophoresis, and cell culture.
Experienced in handling and working with small laboratory animals, mouse is preferred.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication

**What You'll Do:**
As an Applied Scientist in Generative AI Service team, you will be leading the effort of building distributed, scalable, high-performance AI model training and serving systems in partnership with our applied scientists and software engineers. You will dive deep into model structure to optimize model performance and scalability. Bachelor's degree in microbiology, Biology, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory required.
Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or compounding environment preferred.
Experience with compendia testing: United States Pharmacopeia, and regulatory requirements (Food and Drug Administration and cGMP) preferred.
Experience with microbiological method development and method validation procedures like Sterility Testing, Endotoxin Testing, Disinfectant Efficacy Study, Water Testing, Method Validation, Environment Monitoring, Microbial Limit Testing, PET, and microbiological hold time validation, container closure integrity.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, lead front-end sales associates in the replenishment of front end impulse fixtures and ensure exceptional service is provided to each customer in absence of the Front-End Lead Sales Associate. Provides support to other managers as requested.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the work of sales associates serving as cashiers including six to eight active registers.
* Operate cash register and flatbed scanner as needed to provide great customer service.
* Authorize voids and overrides; count register; make bank deposits.
* Assist in maintaining strict cash accountability, key control, and adherence to company security practices and cash control procedures.
* Monitor cash levels and make appropriate drawer pulls as directed by the Store Manager.
* Monitor cameras for unusual activities (customers and employees), if applicable.
* Supply cashiers with change when needed.
* Complete all required paperwork and documentation according to guidelines and deadlines as assigned.
* Assist in the training of new cashiers;
* Cash handling policies and procedures
* Proper Scanning technique
* Engaging the customer
* Cashier selling activity
* Asking for additional front end help when lines start to back up
* Responsible for the sanitation and execution of the front end cleaning schedule.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
* Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
* Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
* Ability to perform cash register functions.
* Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
* Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
* Understanding of safety policies and practices.
* Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
* Knowledge of and willingness to comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual, Employee Handbook, and company communications.
* Ability and willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.
WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Six months to one year of retail clerk experience.
* Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
* Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Frequent walking and standing.
* Frequent bending, stooping and kneeling to run check out station, stock merchandise and unload trucks.
* Frequent handling of merchandise and equipment such as hand-held scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, hoses, merchandise containers, two-wheel dollies, and U-boats (six-wheel carts).
* Frequent and proper lifting of up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds.
* Occasional climbing using ladder.
* Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level.
* Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
* Occasionally exposed to hazardous cleaning solutions.
* Occasionally exposed to slippery floor surfaces.
