Job Title: Clinical Payments Analyst I Client: Large Life Sciences Company Duration: 12 month contract with the possibility for extension WHAT YOU'LL DO This position is responsible for various financial analysis activities for the Clinical Study Payments Team including but not subject to, new study budget review, study and site budget set up, invoice processing, customer service inquiries. The Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) plays a critical role in clinical research by supporting the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting clinical trials. Reinforces study restrictions, diets, and study guidelines. Reviews and provides insight into impending CRFs, electronic CRFs, data clarification forms, and/or data queries. Reviews source documents, lab results, and procedures throughout the study. Assesses adverse events and drug reactions, thoroughly recording details, including the relationship to the study drug. Assists in reporting any serious adverse events (SAEs) to the PI. Participates in monthly staff meetings. Reads and understands the information in the Investigator's Brochure (IB), including the potential risks and side effects of the drug. Performs Clinical Research Coordinator duties. Occasional travel to Company sites, Investigator meetings, and/or Company meetings. Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by your manager. The research involves preclinical and translational studies designed to develop and evaluate novel drug formulations, new drug therapies, and underlying disease mechanisms, focused on substance use disorders, but aligned with co-occurring sleep, mood, pain, and neurodegenerative disorders. The Division of Trauma & Acute Care Surgery at Tulane University is recruiting PhD-level investigators to join our collaborative and growing research enterprise. The research portfolio of the Department of Surgery has expanded significantly in recent years, and the Division is looking to increase its translational research. The Division has a strong publication record and is supported by core research services and facilities within the School of Medicine (SOM). There is ample opportunity for cross-collaboration with other departments within SOM as well as cross-campus. Dual appointments in the SOM are also available based on candidate's experience. The Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Shreveport is seeking a motivated and skilled Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to join our research program in skull base and cerebrovascular neurosurgery. This fellowship provides an outstanding opportunity for candidates interested in advancing clinical and translational research in complex cranial surgery, vascular pathology, and microsurgical innovation. The fellow will work closely with attending neurosurgeons and faculty researchers on a variety of clinical projects, including outcomes analysis, surgical technique refinement, and studies focusing on cerebrovascular disorders (such as aneurysms, AVMs, and bypass surgery) and skull base tumors (including meningiomas, schwannomas, and chordomas). Responsibilities will include: * study design, data collection, * statistical analysis, * manuscript preparation, * video collation and editing, * and presentation of findings at national and international conferences. The position offers comprehensive mentorship and support for fellows interested in pursuing future clinical or academic careers in neurosurgery.
