Job Details:*This position will be on-site*This position requires the following background checks: Cash Handling*This is a grant funded position Position Summary: The Gastroenterology Section in the Temple University Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with ongoing research projects which may include NIH studies, industry clinical trials, and investigator-initiated studies of gastrointestinal motility, gastrointestinal transit, and gastroparesis.
In this capacity, this person will work closely with the principal investigator on projects which will involve assessing gastrointestinal motility such as gastric emptying scintigraphy, liquid nutrient drink testing, electrogastrography, and pyloric impedance planimetry.
The applicant should be energetic, and willing to work with others on a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include patient recruitment, screening, obtaining informed consent, and enrolling research subjects in clinical trials, scheduling study visits, coordinating and performing research-related tests, data collection, data entry and regulatory submissions (IRB).
This position will play a critical part in the success of the clinical trials and must be able to work independently and within a team.
