The successful candidate will have a M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree in cancer biology or immunology, strong peer reviewed publication record and have demonstrated highly competitive research funded grant activities. Research Faculty will be responsible to advance the cancer biology research program through the study of the biology of pediatric cancers of the brain, using the emerging areas of genome editing, precision medicine, epigenetics, biomarkers, next generation high throughput DNA/RNA sequencing, cell therapy and immunotherapy as it relates to pediatric brain cancers. The faculty member will have the responsibility for the day-to-day laboratory research projects, independently write grants and papers, mentor and supervise laboratory staff and students as well as develop educational programs and regularly participate in committee meetings.
