The project's work is focused specifically on three agroforestry practices: silvopasture, food forests, and forest farming. Assistant will travel to various locations, some requiring overnight stays (about 2 to 3 days at a time), usually within 2 to 4 hours from Durham. Selected students will work with faculty researchers for a prescribed period determined by the faculty member on projects in the areas of the natural sciences.
