ArsenalBio's mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Research Associate to join the ArsenalBio Process Development team. The individual will work closely with team members to develop GMP-compatible processes and procedures that will lead to the effective manufacture of our cell therapy products. The individual will also interact cross-functionally across the organization to enable the success of ArsenalBio.

What You Will Do:Assist with planning, execution, analysis, and reporting on experiments to support the development of a GMP process to successfully manufacture T cell therapy products.Compile documentation (protocols, batch records, reports) to facilitate transfer of ArsenalBio's process to manufacturing Actively engage in cross-functional collaboration with peers to overcome challenges and enable effective and successful project execution Organize, communicate, and present complex data sets to key stakeholders and senior management Explore and evaluate emerging technologies to improve and optimize the cell therapy manufacturing process

What Will You Bring:Bachelors in Cell Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 0-2 years of industry experience; relevant research experience in T cell biology and/or immunotherapy preferred. Prior experience in cell therapy, industry, and process development experience preferred Expertise in human immune cell isolation, T cell expansion, and mammalian cell culture techniques preferred Experience in multi-color flow cytometry analyses, including panel design and data analysis preferred Expertise in T cell functional assays including proliferation assessment, cytotoxicity, cytokine/chemokine preferred Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment and coordinate tasks across multiple projects to meet deadlines Creative approach to problem-solving and ability to think outside the box Willingness to accept other responsibilities outside of initial job description and quickly adapt in response to changing research priorities Authenticity, enthusiasm, and a team-minded attitude

Xilis' proprietary MicroOrganoSpheres (MOS) are miniature patient tumors that capture the full microenvironment and heterogeneity and provide an automated and scalable solution. Using MOS, high-throughput automation, and AI-driven algorithms, Xilis is developing a Xilis Response Score™ for the clinic, enabling oncologists to make informed and timely treatment decisions. Additionally, the MOS technology is speeding up the development and clinical trials of cancer drugs by enabling analysis of authentic tumor microenvironments, high-throughput preclinical modeling, and clinical patient selection capabilities.

Role
We are looking for a motivated and innovative research associate to help develop Xilis' transformative MOS-based 3D diagnostic platform. In this role, the individual hired will partner with world-class scientists and engineers to help develop and refine next generation 3D models for future diagnostic assays. In a cross-functional team of thought-leaders in the fields of cancer biology, assay development, robotics, drug discovery, quantitative biology, and others, the candidate will process samples, gather data, keep meticulous notes, and participate in a detailed analysis of results. Key findings will be used to support future diagnostic late stage development efforts. In addition, this candidate will help process samples from various clinical trials, supporting diagnostic assay proof of concept studies. The successful candidate will bring exceptional skills to the laboratory and an ability to work on large and complex experiments and will have prior experience in cell culture, cell viability assays, and experience with lab instrumentation. He or she will also have strong attention to detail and the integrity to precisely report any deviation or issue observed in the laboratory. Finally, the candidate's communication skills will be stellar. The candidate will report to Xilis' Senior Manager for Diagnostic Research & Development.

By joining the team at an early stage, the candidate will have an outsized impact on fundamentally advancing precision cancer care therapy. In the next few months and years, the candidate will:
