Duties / Expectations of Role
Reviews analytical data, including raw data, of developmental, clinical, and commercial pharmaceutical and related products for accuracy and compliance with the clients GxP requirements.
Initiate and monitor stability studies of developmental, clinical, and commercial pharmaceutical and related products tested by contract laboratories.
Reviews, enters, and maintains stability data for developmental, clinical, and commercial pharmaceuticals and related products.
Create studies in LIMS for multiple projects
Enter or review sample test result data in LIMS
Assists in technical investigations; enters deviations and investigations into Trackwise
Maintain and manage analytical testing documentation, including protocols, reports, and data, in compliance with good documentation practices (GDP) and data integrity standards.
Prepare stability reports and summaries for inclusion in INDs, NDAs, and regulatory submissions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Use descriptive statistical techniques to organize and summarize data
Based on project needs, use statistical analysis techniques to identify patterns and trends
Create graphs, profiles, and reports of testing and/or stability data and statistical analysis
Required experience:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science + 5 years work experience in a GXP environment focused on analytical laboratory testing of pharmaceuticals and related materials
Familiarity in GMP environment focused on analytical laboratory testing, including HPLC, Dissolution, etc.
Experience with MS Office, especially MS Excel

CFR's David Rockefeller Studies Program is one of the country's largest foreign policy think tanks with a widely respected and influential research staff. The Research Associate will work under the direction of the Distinguished Fellow for Global Economic Policy and Director of the Greenberg Center on Geoeconomics. This position will be based in CFR's Washington office on a hybrid basis. Research Scientist II (Cancer Epidemiology/Health Services)

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for the position of Research Scientist II (equivalent to an academic associate professor) to join the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI). As part of this dynamic research department, you will design and implement cancer health services and cancer epidemiology-related research projects. Please note, this is not a basic science or bench science position. This is a full-time position based in our regional office located in Capitol Hill, Washington D.C. with a hybrid work model. This position requires going into the regional office at least twice per month on designated days, which will be set by the team.
Reporting to the Director of Research Science, the Research Scientist II will develop and lead independent research projects, seek and secure external funding (federal grants, foundations, and industry), and disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed journals and national scientific meetings. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and advance cancer-related health services research while working collaboratively with physicians, researchers, and external partners.
You can expect to:
Lead the development of a defined, innovative, and independent research portfolio in cancer epidemiology and/or cancer health services.
Prepare and submit grant proposals for extramural research funding (e.g., federal agencies, foundations, and industry), and secure steady funding as a PI, site-PI, or co-investigator. Achieve funding for 75-80% of your annual effort within 5 years of employment.

What is required:
PhD in Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Nursing, or related discipline is required; OR MD/DO with an advanced degree (e.g., MPH, MAS, MS, PhD)
Minimum of seven (7) years of post-doctoral research experience in epidemiology, health services research, or related field is required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a health system research setting preferred

About the Position:
The primary purpose of the position is to lead research on air quality forecasting and various air quality modeling and its practical applications. The Research Scientist engages in projects on real-time air quality forecasting, data assimilation, and dust storm air quality forecasting, and emission modeling.
Responsibilities:
Conducts Advanced Research
Develops and enhances air quality forecasting models to predict pollutant concentrations across various regions. This involves integrating meteorological data, emissions inventories, and chemical transport models to improve prediction accuracy; and
Provide timely and reliable forecasts that inform public health advisories and policy decisions.
Analyzes Emissions Data
Analyzes emissions data from the official U.S. EPA's national emissions inventory (NEI) including various sources, such as transportation, industrial activities, and natural events (e.g., dust storm and fires), to understand their contributions to air quality. This analysis is conducted using advanced statistical methods and modeling techniques to identify trends, sources, and patterns of pollution.
Develops and Implements Modeling Tools
Creates and implements advanced tools and software for air quality modeling, including emissions processing systems and chemical transport models. This involves coding, testing, and validating models against observational data to ensure accuracy and reliability; and
Enhance the technical capabilities of the research team and provide robust tools for forecasting and scenario analysis.
Supports Principal Investigators
Contributes to the preparation of research proposals and grant applications by providing technical expertise on air quality modeling and forecasting. This includes writing sections on methodology, expected outcomes, and the significance of the research; and

Overview Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Research Associate that will be responsible for initiating and carrying out research projects in collaboration with a research team. Pursuits research along a focused line of inquiry and has a manuscript in development.
This position will be in support of the social and behavioral sciences (SBS) program of the Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics Department at the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences.
This program studies social and behavioral factors influencing health.
This includes research to promote health service delivery and quality of care provided by military physicians.
In particular, the SBS program is conducting research titled: Addressing Military Health Providers Burnout, to Improve Readiness and Retention.

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in molecular biology and immunology to work at the COVID Serology Laboratory to lead projects in the area of vaccine immunogenicity. Qualifications
Assistant: 0-2 years of previous, full-time, applicable quantitative research experience
Associate: 2-4 years of previous, full-time, applicable quantitative research experience
A bachelor's degree (required) in economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field (strongly preferred)
Quantitative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and R or Stata (required)
A demonstrated interest in public policy and familiarity with US safety-net programs (required), plus related research experience in public policy (preferred)
Demonstrated experience performing empirical research independently and on a team (required)
Familiarity with analyzing data from surveys, such as the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement (strongly preferred)
Strong initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently

Compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: scope and responsibilities of the position; a candidate's full-time, applicable work experience; key skills and qualifications; as well as internal and external market considerations. The salary range for this full-time, exempt position is $50,000 - $60,000. Salary is just one component of AEI's total compensation package for employees.

Assists in care and maintenance of equipment, supplies and work area.
Sets up, calibrates, cleans and performs routine maintenance on specialized laboratory equipment.
