Very Low pay (you will never get any raises no matter how outstanding you are that amount to more than a few cents because they are owned by HCA) , no variety of paths for career advancement opportunities unless you have a PhD and then it is not guaranteed, expensive benefits, heavy work load for many, dirty environment and facilities and technology are in dire need of maintenance and updates, located in very unsafe and dangerous area of city.
The administration, staff, and most of the faculty are great to work with.
