Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and informs lead person of discrepancies.
Follow requirements on blue prints and work orders this includes but not limited to Lapping parts.
Thoroughly inspect first part run
Complete assigned tasks within required timeframes, with minimal supervision
Recognize production problems and inform supervisor
Understanding of basic machine language
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools
Read and interpret manufacturing and engineering drawings
Perform miscellaneous duties in the machine shop as directed
Follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of equipment and procedures
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (Education, skills, and experience):
At least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry with knowledge of speeds and feeds
Ability to work independently, follow instructions, concentrate for long periods of time
Great work ethics
Properly uses basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, indicators, etc.)

Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity

Purchase new or additional stock based on usage patterns, upcoming jobs, and inventory levels.
Receive, inspect, count, and log incoming inventory manually and through the ERP system.
