Collect specimens and input data and information into an electronic system.
Complete visits with study subjects, and schedule follow-ups for samples or evaluation.
Collaborate closely with other Revance research (Bioscience department) and Clinical staff in scheduling future appointments or shipments for biological sourced material to be evaluated in Biomedical assays.
Act as Lead Scientist on research, study designs, protocol development, data analysis, interpretation and presentation. This includes both internal and external studies as described for the areas of research for the department.

The Woodcock Institute supports interdisciplinary research into the cognitive profiles of individuals with diagnosed exceptionalities (e.g., learning disabilities, neuropsychological conditions, behavioral and psychiatric disorders, and giftedness). In addition, the Woodcock Institute supports the advancement of effective clinical assessment practices and the dissemination of research findings through direct professional development opportunities, publications and applied evidence-based assessment. In support of this mission, the Woodcock Institute is excited to announce the launching of the
Richard W. Woodcock Pediatric Psychology Fellowship Post-Doc Program with emphasis in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
The Woodcock Institute is seeking one full-time psychology postdoctoral fellow for a 2 year appointment. Primary clinical activities include neurodevelopmental assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, emotional and behavioral disorders, as well as other low incident developmental disabilities through interdisciplinary work at the Woodcock Autism Assessment Clinic, TWU multidisciplinary clinic and in collaboration with a community based hospital partnership. In addition, fellows will engage in ongoing neurocognitive research, presentation and publication opportunities, and are provided teaching opportunities and mentorship possibilities with psychology practicum students. The schedule will include 2 days a week at the TWU interdisciplinary/ autism clinic, 2 days a week at the community based hospital partnership, and 1 day a week to conduct research, submit publications/presentations, outreach, or participate in training opportunities. In consultation with supervisors at each setting, fellows will develop a tailored plan to address their specific training goals within these settings.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in pediatric neuropsychological, cognitive, academic, and social/emotional assessment, as well as in the application of multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations and evidence-based intervention approaches for individuals with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to work well with families and effectively collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team. In addition to applied practice, this fellowship will provide opportunities for research. Fellows can participate in on-going research on site and in collaboration with Texas Woman's University and the Woodcock Institute. Fellows may develop individual research goals with the Training Director during orientation for data collection, presentations, and publications throughout the fellowship program.

The Flow Dynamics and Turbulence (FDT) Laboratory, within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position focused on laboratory investigations of small-scale turbulence above and below surface waves under high-wind conditions. We seek a highly motivated, independent, and creative researcher with a strong background in air-sea interactions and experimental fluid mechanics, particularly in optical flow visualization techniques. The successful candidate will conduct advanced laboratory experiments to investigate the dynamics of small-scale turbulence in the coupled air-sea boundary layer and its impact on air-sea flux transfers. This will be accomplished by a combination of novel experiments based on particle image velocimetry (PIV), laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), high-speed imaging, and schlieren/shadowgraphy techniques. The resulting dataset will support the development of sea-state-dependent parameterizations of air-sea fluxes.

About Us: The FDT laboratory is part of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. It is an interdisciplinary research group dedicated to understanding the nature of turbulence and examining turbulent flow processes in different natural, industrial, and engineering environments using experimental, numerical, and theoretical approaches. Particularly, our research agenda is focused on studying turbulent air-sea interaction processes, including surface waves and the accompanying generation of turbulence, spray, bubbles, airflow separation, and breaking waves. Another strand of our research is devoted to studying the turbulence structure in hurricane boundary-layer flows and examining the impacts of wind-wave interaction processes on offshore wind turbines and on-shore structures. In general, our research field is of interest to engineering, applied mathematics, and oceanography scholars. Physics learned from our work directly impacts our understanding of air-sea couplings and ocean waves, which is crucial for weather and climate forecasting and has significant societal benefits, impacting many aspects of human life.

Position Information
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position will play an active role in research, including working on data, presentations, publications, project/program conceptualization and development, grant proposal development, and other related activities. This position will focus on community-based intervention studies and/or longitudinal cohort studies across the lifespan, with particular attention to health equity and health disparities.
Responsibilities:
Plays an active role in research, including working on data, presentations, publications, project/program conceptualization and development, grant proposal development, and other related activities.
Works on various projects, particularly projects addressing food and nutrition insecurity, as well as maternal and early childhood nutrition.
Leads and collaborates on manuscript preparation from relevant studies (e.g., data analysis, writing, and submission)
Contributes to conference presentations and reports.
Develops and writes grant proposals to funding agencies.
Customized professional development and training opportunities geared toward preparation for a faculty career will be provided.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Ph.D. in related field (e.g., nutrition, public health, epidemiology, kinesiology, etc.). Candidates with ABD or all requirements met but diploma pending may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing and designing interventions and related research studies in the following areas: underserved populations; minority and urban health; food and nutrition security; maternal and early childhood nutrition; community-based health behavior interventions.
Experience working with various individuals and communities.
Solid experience with qualitative and/or quantitative (at least one; both preferred) data analysis, including sufficient knowledge in statistical tools and software.
Strong scientific manuscript writing and presentation skills, and solid experience writing/collaborating on extramural funding applications.

The Levi laboratory in the Division of Burn, Trauma, Acute and Critical Care Surgery in the Department of Surgery has an opening for a Research Scientist. The Levi lab's mission is to improve the lives of people living with skin and musculoskeletal injuries and diseases through rigorous science and compassion. Current projects in the Levi laboratory are related to the molecular biology behind tissue fibrosis and the repair and regeneration process in tendon, muscle, and bone. The laboratory integrates multiomics-based approaches with investigations of musculoskeletal development, homeostasis, repair, and regeneration. The laboratory uses transgenic animal models combined with bioinformatic approaches to understand the cell-cell interactions that occur within the stem cell niche under physiological conditions and strives to understand how these divergent signaling mechanisms may guide future therapeutic strategies to promote faithful repair of damaged tissue.
The Levi Lab is looking for a Research Scientist with an Osteosarcoma focus to join the team who is willing to commit to at least two years. The Research Scientist will support ongoing bench and animal work within the lab related to tendon injury/fibrosis, muscle injury/fibrosis or bone/tendon/muscle regeneration. Duties will include routine molecular bench work combined with the use of animal models (animal handling, injections, surgeries, sample collection) as well as downstream processing (histology, immunofluorescent stain and confocal imaging, flow cytometry, cell culture, single cell and bulk RNA sequencing) under supervision of the PI.

The IES Research Institute is an academic research division embedded within the Emergency Medicine Department at John Peter Smith (JPS) Health Network, a public safety-net health system with a 3-year emergency medicine residency program. The goal of the Institute is to develop and support scholarly activity, research, and grants to improve health outcomes and healthcare delivery for vulnerable emergency medicine populations through discovery and innovation. We use a team science approach and prioritize research that informs practice. We are a growing group supporting 15 core faculty members, a 3-year residency program with 45 residents, and fellowships in administration, academics, emergency ultrasonography, and street medicine, among others.

Job Description
