AcuraStem is seeking a research associate to support our iNeuroRx disease modeling platform. This platform will be employed for target discovery/validation, biomarker evaluation and the construction of additional neurodegenerative disease models. The research associate is expected to work in close cooperation with AcuraStem scientists. The incumbent candidate should have experience with mammalian cell culture. The research associate will follow detailed protocols in excruciating detail but also has the ability to propose improvements and changes when necessary. Responsibilities: Maintain cell lines (hi PSCs/HEK/Glia cell) with sterile techniques. Performing biochemistry/molecular biology assays. Support and collaborate with scientists, labs, vendors and industry experts to ensure completion of tasks/projects. Gather, organize and analyze technical information for research study design and for publications and submissions as needed. Initiate scientific documents for research, including study reports, protocols, and other related documents. Qualifications B.S. in a biology discipline (Biology, Neuroscience, Bioengineering) Experience in mammalian cell culture Experience in plasmid DNA preparation, immunostaining, ELISA Effective verbal and written communication skills in relating to colleagues and associates both inside and outside the organization Demonstrated team player with the ability to work with little supervision. Knowledge of EH&S procedures Additional Information Scheduling flexibility, which includes late evening, weekend and holiday work hours is required. Due to the demands of maintaining healthy cell cultures, weekend work will be required. Travel may be required to various AcuraStem laboratory sites (~5%). This 10-month Post-Doctoral Residency is designed to meet the licensure requirements in Psychology for supervised Post-Doctoral professional experience as defined by the California Code of Regulations, including a minimum of 1500 hours of supervised professional experience. There are rich opportunities to treat a very diverse clientele in terms of ethnicity, gender, culture, and socioeconomic background. The clientele presents with a wide range of problems including adjustment difficulties, relationship concerns, major affective disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, learning disabilities, anxiety disorders, and often present in psychological crisis. The clinical caseload is generally 16-20 hours per week and includes intake/assessment, crisis management, and individual and group psychotherapy. It is expected that the trainees take advantage of the many opportunities to participate in campus outreach and education. Residents are also responsible for supervising a group of undergraduate peer educators. The remaining hours are spent in supervision, outreach, case consultation, seminars, and chart documentation. Salary: $33.65 to $40.87 hourly, commensurate with experience Donor Prospect Research Associate Exempt/Non -exempt: Non-exempt Reports to: Associate Director, Database Operations Date : January 12, 2026 Position Summary : The Donor Prospect Research Associate collaborates closely with the Development team to ensure fundraisers are equipped with accurate, actionable, and timely prospect intelligence. This role applies research and data analysis expertise to build and maintain robust prospect pools, support data-driven fundraising strategies, and inform donor engagement efforts. This position is also responsible for prospect portfolio distribution, prospect-related reporting, and the ongoing maintenance of prospect research data within the Raisers Edge database. Essential Functions: Conduct comprehensive prospect research using a wide range of biographical, organizational, and financial sources, including online databases, public records, and other reputable resources. Prepare concise, high-level donor briefings and profiles for PCF leadership and Development staff. Record and maintain donor biographies, ratings, and related research data in Raisers Edge to ensure accuracy and usability. Assess prospective donors capacity, inclination, philanthropic history, and connections to PCF. Analyze complex information to identify gift capacity and provide clear recommendations to guide donor engagement strategies. Provide administrative support to gift officers, including preparing donor lists, briefing materials, and other stewardship tasks. Partner with gift officers, consultants, and Development leadership to share research findings, insights, and strategies. Support effective communication and coordination across the Development team to advance fundraising goals. Identify and correct data entry errors and inconsistencies.
