About the role
The Ishizuka Lab (Yale School of Medicine) is recruiting a post-graduate dry lab Research Associate to drive analysis and biological insights from multi-modal and single cell genomics data gathered from patient tumor immune samples and murine models. A portion of the role will also include support of the development and application of next-gen AI-enabled protein design approaches.
We are seeking, reliable, self-motivated and ambitious candidates who will be trusted to build reproducible analyses, produce interpretable results and communicate clearly with experimental and computational team members. Co-authorship is supported.
Commitment: We strongly prefer candidates who can commit to two consecutive one-year renewable terms (2 years total)
What you'll do:
Manage day-to-day sc RNA-seq analysis: QC, integration, clustering/annotation, differential analyses, etc
Build reproducible workflows (code structure, documentation, version control)
Generate publication-quality figures
Partner with wet-lab teammates to refine experimental design and translate findings into next steps
Help prototype/implement workflows that combine novel AI methods with evolutionary/sequence concepts
Present data and stories internally to the lab and externally as needed
Maintain clear data lineages and documentation so others can reuse/extend your work

Job Description
The contingent worker will be working under the supervision of Oncology In Vivo Pharmacologists and will be required to adhere to the relevant established Animal Use Protocols and SOPs for PDX.The workers should also have experience in small animal surgery and sterile techniques.The workers should preferably have knowledge of cancer research experimental designs and methods.Experience with dosing mice would be useful but is not a strict requirement
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Biology, The worker should have a minimum 1-3 years' experience in small animal surgery and sterile techniques working with mice, preferably immune deficient mice.
Additional Information
The responsible for mouse cancer model development.This work will primarily be the establishment and maintenance of patient-derived cancer xenografts but could also include development of cell line xenografts.This work requires sterile technique and attention to detail.Work is conducted both in an animal facility (vivarium) as well as in biosafety cabinets (laminar flow hoods).

Position Description: The successful candidate will provide quantitative bioanalytical support using LC-MS/MS for a variety of high throughput in vitro ADME profiling assays. In this hands-on role, the candidate will perform sample analyses by mass spectrometry, and will review, interpret and report results. Instruments and software from various vendors including Sciex (Analyst) and Thermo (Excalibur) will be used along with custom internal data processing software to acquire data and process results. The successful candidate will also troubleshoot HPLC and MS instrumentation as necessary.
Position Requirements: BS or MS in chemistry, with specialization in analytical chemistry preferred, along with 1 to 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical experience is required. Training or experience in mass spectrometry and separation science, as well as hands-on experience in quantitative LC-MS/MS analysis are desired. Proficiency in general computer software, including vendor specific instrument control and analysis tools, is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are required as is commitment to working as a team player within a multifunctional organization. A working knowledge of allied disciplines such as computer science, lab automation, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and synthetic chemistry is helpful.
