    Reality Labs at Meta is seeking Research Scientists with experience in product-focused machine learning and signal processing research to advance our pioneering work in neuromotor interfaces, which has grown out of the acquisition of CTRL-labs. We're building a practical interface drawing on the rich neuromotor signals that can be measured non-invasively via surface electromyography (EMG) with single motor neuron resolution. This technology could become one of the main pillars for interaction with virtual and augmented worlds.We are a multi-disciplinary team of researchers investigating the nature of human neuromotor signals, developing novel signal processing and machine learning methods to infer a user's intent, and creating novel interaction techniques and user experiences. Help us unleash human potential by removing the bottlenecks between user intent and action. **Required Skills:** Research Scientist - CTRL Labs Responsibilities: 1. Research and develop Deep Learning or other computational models 2. Design methods, tools and infrastructure to analyze and leverage rich multimodal data sets 3. Set technical direction for a project of 2-3 researchers and engineers 4. Help transition and deliver our work from research into product 5. Job Description • Set up and Operate Flow Cytometers and Sorters • Perform all necessary QC and machine troubleshooting • Perform routine laboratory benchwork • Analyze data • Tracking and reporting inventory supplies. • Assisting Core Users with instrument and software training. Assist Core Users to troubleshoot a variety of general issues related to data acquisition, data analysis, and data storage. • Assisting in the execution of Core related projects. • Effectively communicate with senior technical staff, office staff and other clients clearly and professionally. • Resolves issues and performs duties as required to meet customer requirements • Work independently and as a team player. • Previous experience in flow cytometry preferred • Good computer proficiency with MS-Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as strong data entry skills • Familiarity with Flow-Jo software packages is preferred • Good work ethic with the ability to complete work accurately and timely, with general direction. • Good professional and effective communication skills, verbal, and written. • Occasional local travel between sites may be required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a clinical, health or life science field required. This is a full-time, benefited position. The successful candidate will primarily work on the DUNE experiment and will take on a leadership role in the DUNE Photon Detection System (PDS) consortium focusing on the novel application of Power-over-Fiber (PoF) technology for powering the DUNE PDS. Responsibilities include leading efforts in production preparation, QA/QC, and underground installation of the PoF system for the DUNE PDS at SURF. The successful candidate will also play a leadership role in the analysis of data collected by DUNE prototypes located at CERN.
