The primary responsibility of this role is to research quantum photonics phenomena and their application to integrated photonics.
The person in this role will report to the Senior Engineering Manager of ERD and have a passion for approaching new problems with novel solutions in quantum integrated photonics for sensing (such as magnetometry, temperature field, or device prognostics), communications (such as entangled pair generation, single photon emission, or squeezed light analysis), and consideration of integration of non-linear effects or active devices.

* Research quantum photonic concepts in scientific literature, down-select best approaches to apply to outstanding applications and suggest novel extensions or brand-new methodologies.

* Create simulation, validation, and packaging plans to meet research-level timelines targeting state-of-the-art performance parameters.

The project abstract is below.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the project's research objectives, which include:
Developing GenAI models to code mathematics instruction based on the seven dimensions of Belonging-Centered Instruction (BCI).
Creating AI models capable of coding video-recorded secondary mathematics instruction for generating a strengths and improvement assessment to guide human-facilitated teacher coaching.
Designing AI-driven learning modules that can suggest culturally relevant and sustaining instructional strategies (as well as point to examples of enactment) for supporting secondary mathematics teachers' professional learning and instructional improvement.
This is a two-year appointment, with the option for a third year renewal, anticipated to start in summer 2025.

The Clinical Research Associate is responsible for managing the conduct of all delegated human subject research and related activities. Performs all research duties related to human subject research protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum Bachelor's degree required. Research experience preferred, health care degree such as an MD, DO, BSN or equivalent is desirable but not necessary. Advanced degree or equivalent training in biological sciences or translational research will meet these requirements.
