About The Role: The Vice President, Research & Analytics, will develop and oversee HIDA's market research products, services and programs. In this new position, the VP will lead a significant expansion of HIDA business intelligence program, including developing predictive analytics to help healthcare products distributors and manufacturers anticipate demand for medical products, creating and delivering new research products, and building a new AI-powered Knowledge Center platform. As a result, HIDA's executive-level audience will have greater insight on demand for medical products, changing customer needs, and the impact of government policies and other external factors on growth.
About HIDA: The Health Industry Distributors Association is the premier trade association representing distributors serving healthcare providers. HIDA members deliver essential medical products to the nation's hospitals, nursing homes, laboratories, home care, and physician practices. HIDA is a leading voice on matters important to the healthcare distribution industry as well as the healthcare supply chain.
The HIDA office is located in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, and operates on a flexible 3-days in-office, 2 days remote schedule. This position requires travel 5-6 times per year.

Strategic Leadership
Develop/execute roadmap for HIDA's research and analytics capabilities, including a new Knowledge Center, to deliver future-focused insights and forecasts.
Recruit and lead a small business intelligence team
Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, consultants, and/or data providers to expand research capabilities.
Share HIDA research and insights in webinars, social media, articles, and presentations.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, NLP) to enhance research outputs and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., government affairs, membership) to align research outputs with strategic priorities.
Develop subject matter expertise on trends in the healthcare industry, in particular medical products distribution

Plan and develop comprehensive intelligence platform focused on medical products distribution
Serve as Knowledge Center Editor in Chief
Reports and Resources
Ensure that current publications continue to provide member value and address relevant issues; develop strategies for revenue growth:
Market Reports (annual overviews of trends in 6 provider segments)
Chartbooks and infographics
Develop new research outputs which are expected to include:
Annual State of the Industry Report for healthcare distribution
Horizon Reports analyzing key trends/issues impacting healthcare demand (e.g., impact of GLP-1 drugs)
Sales forecasts by healthcare market segment
Clarivate Data Program
Oversee partnership with HIDA's data partner, Clarivate, data aggregation program creating market share insights for medical products manufacturers
Find new ways to leverage this resource to create additional insights and value for HIDA members
Collaborate with the Clarivate team on strategies to grow revenue for both partners
Other Responsibilities
As needed, to support the goals of the department and HIDA.

Minimum Qualifications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical development, Medical Affairs, market access, regulatory affairs, and commercial teams) to ensure alignment of outcomes research initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in academic, healthcare and payer domains to support outcomes research initiatives.
Engage with industry associations, policymakers, and thought leaders to advocate for the importance of real-world evidence and outcomes research in shaping healthcare decisions.
3. Leadership & Communication:

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MPH, or equivalent) in epidemiology, health economics, biostatistics, public health, or a related field. Master's Degree required.
Research Expertise: Extensive experience in conducting various types of studies, including observational, epidemiologic, and comparative effectiveness research.

Position Summary
KIND seeks a strategic, creative, and systems-oriented Manager, Prospect Research and Portfolio Optimization. The incumbent will work closely with the Vice President of Development and senior leaders in the development department to establish and maintain critical systems and procedures for identifying, evaluating, and cultivating high-value individual donor prospects, institutional funding opportunities, both public and private, optimizing donor portfolios, and streamlining moves management efforts cross-departmentally.

Essential Fuctions
* Prospect Research & Analysis
* Leads comprehensive prospect research initiatives to identify high-net worth donors, planned giving candidates, and institutional funders, both public funding and private foundations.
* Conducts wealth and propensity screenings, capacity assessments, relationship mapping tools, monitor funder networks/collaboratives/RFPs, and other philanthropic sources.
* Develops detailed individual and institutional donor briefs - giving history, funding priorities, areas of interest, relationship mapping.
* Creates a system for capturing and tracking communications, donor/funder touchpoints, key internal and external stakeholders, and follow-up actions in Salesforce.
* Monitor and analyze donor behavior patterns and funding trends in the current philanthropic landscape for KIND's mission and programs, both domestically and abroad
Portfolio Management & Optimization
Designs and implements portfolio segmentation strategies to maximize donor lifetime value, pipeline development, and maximizing donor/funder participation and capacity across funding streams. Synthesizes and distills research for use in reports, briefings, and recommendations to executive and senior leaders across the organization. Leadership & Collaboration

Presents portfolio recommendations to senior leadership, philanthropy officers, and grant writers. * Undergraduate degree required, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in prospect research, portfolio optimization, individual giving, institutional funders, and/or development operations.

About the role
You will lead the team of Security Researchers responsible for driving the coverage through rules for Secrets, Code, and Supply Chain: across all of our products. This team owns:
Writing high-quality detection rules
Advancing research and automation to make rule writing faster and more accurate
Measuring and improving the overall quality and coverage of detections
As the Manager of the Security Research Coverage team, you'll report to the Head of Security Research. You'll set the roadmap, partner with Product Management to focus on the most impactful detection areas, and drive continuous improvements in both accuracy and breadth of our vulnerability coverage. Success in this role means leading a team that delivers world-class detections, scales rule generation through automation and AI, and pushes the boundaries of what modern vulnerability research can achieve.

Directors on our Strategic Advisory Services team (within the Research Discovery & Design division) develop the ideas, products, and services that help higher education executives navigate the major strategic, management, and operational issues facing the industry today. Our researchers conduct in-depth interviews with campus executives at diverse institutions and perform data and root-cause analyses to identify market-leading strategies and best practices in our pursuit to make education smarter.
As a member of our team, you will play an important role in innovating and producing syndicated research and high-value advisory services for partner organizations, including on-site workshops, executive roundtable events, diagnostic tools, and strategy briefs. You will also be a valued expert to EAB partner organizations, advising them on strategy and best practice implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:
Directors lead strategic research projects from conception to completion, ranging from two to four months for smaller projects to approximately nine months for the largest, most complex projects. Directors provide intellectual leadership and analytical direction throughout all stages of the process, working through extensive primary and secondary research, hypothesis generation and testing, rigorous analysis of findings, design and execution of implementation resources, and the final presentation of ideas. Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 per year. The research director for the Trump Accountability project will play a key role in our efforts to monitor and expose the abuses of the Trump administration, with a special focus on the conflicts of interests and corporate ties of President Trump and key figures in the Trump administration. The research director will need to propose and carry out a strategic agenda that shines a light on the Trump regime's corruption and counters his populist pretensions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Developing and implementing a strategic research agenda based on a rich understanding of President Trump's domestic and international businesses, the revolving door conflicts of his cabinet, and the corporate-friendly policies of the administration.
Researching and writing reports, op-eds, blogs, fact sheets and other research products on a wide variety of issues.
Developing a rapid response system for quickly and accurately disseminating information in response to breaking news;

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of and experience with diverse research techniques such as interviews, legal research, and use of government agency, NGO and academic sources;
knowledge of a range of public policy issues; familiarity with using research as a public education and advocacy tool.
Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years research, investigative and writing experience with one or more of the following -- investigative journalism, corporate analysis, think tank and advocacy, legislative or electoral campaigns.
Skills: Strategic thinking and planning; excellent research and analytic skills; strong writing. Quantitative experience, including statistical analysis, a plus.

Director of Observational Research, Pharmacovigilance Epidemiology and Causal Inference
What you will do
Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will lead a Pharmacovigilance Epidemiology and Causal Inference team within the Data and Analytics Center (DAC). A CfOR director is recognized as a strong scientific contributor and is a first or contributing author for papers in peer-reviewed journals or for internal reports that enhance the company's mission. This role will primarily be located on the Amgen corporate campus in Thousand Oaks, CA, but remote opportunities may also be available.
The team consists of 6+ epidemiologists and works collaboratively across therapeutic areas to design and implement studies using real-world data to inform questions related to product safety and effectiveness. Responsibilities range from estimating exposure to Amgen medicines across countries, estimating background rates of events to inform signal evaluations, conducting post-approval safety studies globally (including post-marketing requirements, commitments, and post-authorization safety studies) to evaluate the benefit-risk balance of Amgen therapies, and conducting studies requiring advanced causal inference methodologies including real-world comparative effectiveness. The team is also responsible for developing and optimizing analytic tools to enable the delivery of high-quality, principled, and state of the art research efficiently for the organization. In addition to managing and coordinating this work, the Director will also serve on the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) of the department and actively engage in efforts around department strategy, prioritization, and talent and culture. Additionally, the Director will work cross-functionally with Global Patient Safety and Global Regulatory Affairs and Strategy at the leadership level to optimize the use of real-world evidence to inform patient benefit-risk and regulatory decision making.
