Our Digital Marketing Intern will work on client accounts, helping to plan, schedule, create, traffic, and track numerous ads within comprehensive social media campaigns. The rest of your time will be spent learning the ropes of agency life through real-world assignments and team collaboration. You'll contribute to campaign strategy, brainstorm big ideas, and soak up as much advertising experience as your brain can contain.
We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced workplace, loves working in person with other humans, and takes initiative to find ways in which systems and processes can improve. The ideal candidate has some experience in advertising, marketing, or communications and lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This is a paid internship that requires a minimum of 40 hours per month (that's about 10 hours per week), and can be used to fulfill school credits. The majority of the internship will take place in-office at our ABQ headquarters.
Responsibilities
· Planner: Schedule, manage, and coordinate monthly social content calendars based on strategic goals and brand voice.
· Tracker: Manage multi-tactic social media metric reporting each month by organizing data, monitoring analytics, and reporting on successes or potential improvements.
· Communicator: Keep open and clear communication channels between team members to accurately gauge bandwidths and project statuses.
· Scheduler: Create appropriate timelines that establish goals, deliverables, milestones, and limits.

Qualifications
· This position is ideal for students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or a related field.
· An eagle-eye for details, an obsession with organization and the ability to drive creative campaigns across multiple teams under tight deadlines.

The Research Technologist assists in study execution; collects samples from and administers agents to research animals in accordance with IACUC standards with a large focus on necropsy on multiple species. Participation in other pathology and study specific related duties (tissue collection, trimming, specimen processing and management, etc.) will be required.
Documents laboratory work to very high, accepted standards and maintains laboratory/medical equipment and supplies in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols and regulations. Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a wet laboratory environment. Will wear personal protective equipment which may include a respirator. CQuIC is an interdisciplinary QIS research center, with participating faculty from physics, chemistry, electrical and computer engineering, computer science. CQuIC's research covers a broad range of foundational and applied investigations on topics including quantum computation, control, measurement, communication, and simulation. CQuIC is an active participant in several multi-institutional centers, newly launched under the National Quantum Initiative (NQI), including the NSF Quantum Leap Challenge Institute, "Quantum Systems through Entangled Science and Engineering" (Q-SEnSE), and the DOE "Quantum Systems Accelerator" (QSA). Coordinates and administers a funded research study/activity or group of associated activities. Assists in project planning, and ensures that pre-established work scope, study protocol, and regulatory requirements are followed. Establishes and maintains budgets and fiscal controls for the project and assists in the development of grant proposals. Recruits and coordinates research subjects, as appropriate, and serves as principle administrative liaison for the project. Oversees and coordinates the provision of administrative and staff services to investigators; develops and maintains recordkeeping systems and procedures.

The research technician will be responsible for recording patient and specimen data; and processing, storage, and transport/shipping of specimens. The research technician will also participate in chart review, data extraction and/or entry, secure and safe data transmission to external sites, and assisting with preparation of reports and responses to queries about the data. The hired individual will be exposed to confidential patient information and documents, and thus, completion of the mandated UNM privacy training will be required.
Additional responsibilities will also include basic and routine laboratory duties and administrative duties as assigned or required by the various projects and the HTR-TASR. Laboratory duties will include immunohistochemical and special stains, and basic histology techniques such as paraffin embedding of tissue, sectioning of paraffin blocks and frozen tissues, mounting tissue sections on slides, H&E staining of tissue sections on slides, slide scanning/digitizing, and processing of blood samples.
Other duties will include various general lab procedures, equipment maintenance, cleaning/disinfecting lab-ware, cleaning of the lab, taking inventory, stocking supplies, pulling and filing tissue blocks and slides, digital scanning of slides, cataloging/data entry pertaining to banked tissue samples and research projects.
Administrative duties will include assistance with ordering supplies, maintaining logs, tracking projects and billing, preparation of reports, organization of Standard Operating Procedures, and assistance with audit and inspection preparation.

The primary duties will consist of collecting the ancillary ecological data for vegetation community plots as part of a mapping project in the Colorado Plateau region of New Mexico. The candidate will work with an experienced NHNM botanist at all times. Experience using a gps, camera, and other common field equipment is preferred. Experience with field geology and botany is a plus. The vast majority of job duties will occur in the field. The candidate should be comfortable with spending long days in field, camping in rustic conditions and working outdoors in all weather conditions. The candidate must be available to travel to field sites, spending up to a week at a time at field locations outside of Albuquerque. Prior relevant work experience is helpful, but not necessary. We are looking for an excellent team player with solid communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience conducting scientific surveys/data collection in the field.
2. Flexibility around late summer and early fall field work schedule.
3. Availability to work out of town for up to a week at a time.
4. Experience doing natural resources and biological inventory including the field measurement and recording of vegetation data; collection, preparation, and cataloging of field samples and specimens. Experience collecting related ancillary data and use of ancillary field equipment such as gps unit, camera, range finder, clinometer, compass, etc.
5. Ability to follow an established data collection protocol.
6. Skills and experience using geographic information systems (GIS) and maps to orient in the field.
7. Current Wilderness First Aid or First Responder training.
8. An interest in gaining valuable field research experience in vegetation ecology.
9. A completed baccalaureate degree in a related field (e.g., biology, ecology, geology, etc.)

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Mexico seeks a postdoctoral fellow with research experience in mathematical biology, preferably using theoretical and numerical approaches to understand mechanisms in biological systems. This appointment may be renewed for additional periods after one year as long as grant funding is available.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Anna Nelson and will be able to continue their current research projects while also engaging in collaborative work with neuroscientists and neurobiologists. You will also be working with scientists from other STEM departments at UNM, with mentorship guidance on cross-discipline collaboration. Your office space will be at UNM, where you will also have time to pursue your own research interests related to mathematical biology.
This position has no teaching responsibilities, but there is an opportunity to teach if desired. The preferred starting date is in August 2025.
