Interns will engage in various aspects of operational K-12 assessments, including assessment development, item analysis, standard setting, and technical reporting. This opportunity also supports our LEAD goal, as interns frequently collaborate with our research scientists on co-publications and present their work at industry conferences. **Pay rate** The award includes a $9,000 stipend. You will be eligible for accrued paid sick time per the policy guidelines. Please refer to the Sick Leave Policy. **Job Description** As an Associate Research & Psychometric Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in large-scale educational assessment. Interns will work closely with Pearson research scientists to support operational K-12 assessment contracts, gaining applied experience in assessment development, item analysis, standard setting, and technical reporting. This internship also provides opportunities to collaborate on research, co-publish with experts, and present at industry conferences, enhancing both technical skills and professional communication in educational measurement **What does the 8- weeks involve?** During the 8-week program taking place between June and August 2026, with some flexibility in scheduling. Interns will gain hands-on experience in large-scale educational assessment, working closely with Pearson research scientists.
