This internship program is co-funded by the University of Wyoming EPSCoR Program and Western EcoSystems Technology (WEST), Inc. The goal is to increase the intern's competitiveness for computational and data science careers in academic, government, and/or commercial settings. The internship can begin this winter and may extend into the spring depending on the project and intern availability. This internship is a part of WY-ACT: Anticipating the Climate-Water Transition and Cascading Challenges to Socio-Environmental Systems in America's Headwaters . There are multiple possible intern projects as WEST works with a variety of partners within the state of Wyoming on topics that relate to climate and water systems. Project selection will be determined by considering the intern's strengths and goals along with partner needs.
