Contribute to the end-to-end calibration and validation of each component of the measurement system and the science data products for these missions. QualificationsPhD student (preferred) or advanced graduate student in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Graphics, or a related field. Research experience demonstrated through publications at top-tier conferences (e.g., ECCV, ICCV, CVPR, SIGGRAPH).Strong background in face detection, head pose tracking, 2D/3D motion tracking, or virtual try-on technologies.Hands-On experience developing and training diffusion models, particularly in image or video synthesis.Familiarity with face detection and segmentation technologies.Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow.Strong foundation in linear algebra, numerical optimization, and deep learning techniques.Experience with human body/face keypoint detection and tracking at a state-of-the-art level.Bonus: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) for large-scale training, and experience with real-time rendering engines.

At Flawless, our team and interview process want to help you show your best self. We'll dive into past projects and simulate working together. Our interview process is four rounds with some casual Zoom (or in-person) coffee in between to get to know each other:
Recruiting Screen: 30-45 minute call with our recruiting team (We want to discuss your background, interests and motivations as well as the practical details and make sure that Flawless would be a good fit for you)
Hiring Manager Screen: 45-60 minute zoom interview - you will meet with our Devesh Walawalkar, Research Engineer for Face Perception to discuss your technical expertise.
Coding Interview: - 60 min live coding test. This will be a technical paired-programming task with one of our science team. This is designed to be an open/pairing type exercise to assess your ability to parse simple requirements, translate those into code, and demonstrate your fluency with hands on coding.
Domain Depth AI/ML: 60 onsite interview where you will meet 1-2 members of the Applied/Research science teams, through a screen share format talking through experience in deep learning architecture, and machine learning principles.
Behavioral Interview: 45 Minute onsite / virtual interview - Use this time to meet Sr Leaders in the Org, speaking on how you work with other teams, and in a startup environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Independently conduct scientific experiments for product development, performance troubleshooting, and protocol optimization.
Perform nucleic acid purification, PCR, qPCR, and other experiments as assigned.
Assist with data collection and data interpretation.

Qualifications:
Education (or working towards a degree) in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
